Even my wife was interested to play the game. It's huge sucess is related to its social mechanics, which are fun to play with friends or with random people over internet. Devs reinvented the old an known Mafia table role-playing game and its now fresh and feels brand new.
Among UsBesides, Among Us references very popular genre of sci-fi, where a story happens inside a spaceship traveling to new home, e.g. Passengers movie.
If you love social games, this might be your choice for the next game to play.

So I wanted some hardcore game for my Nintendo Switch, and Doom Eternal is surely one of few AAA games, you can actually get for Switch. I didn't play it on PC or other consoles - so I'm kinda playing with "mobile" graphics, but still it looks decent and plays just awesome.
Doom EternalChallenging, with interesting mechanics in every aspect of the game. Exploration, fights, upgrades - are deep enough to remain enjoyable for quite a long time, adding something new as you progress through the story.
PvP is somewhat new and interesting to play. However there are few issues with balance and matchmaking. It seems Nintendo Switch players are being matched to PC players, which I find somewhat unfair even more than 1vs2 gameplay.

Actually, just recently became interested in QTE games, after playing Quantic Dream titles. So I was browsing for similar games and found this gem. I was delaying the play, as you can't really hop on a quick session and need at least an hour of free time to go deep into the story, otherwise you will quickly get lost in the situations, which get escalated surprisingly fast.
The Wolf Among UsAt first I thought the game is childish and I will end up catching some cats, but it turns out to be a serious detective for adults, which engages you in about 20 minutes of gameplay, when things are getting messy.
Highly recommend it for everyone, but you need to be fluent with English to play it.

Enjoyed the atmosphere. Love everything melee/bow related, while also in sci-fi setting.
Horizon Zero DawnThe plot is as well cool, both side quests and main story are deep enough to keep on exploring after some time into game.

Custom map named Custom Hero Chaos is very popular lately, it is a sort of fantasy battle royale, where you pick up spells and progress through pve and pvp short fights until only the winner is left. Mode has great replayability as in every game you are only limited to pick spells from a limited random pool.

Just in case you didn't know - Destiny 2 is now free to play some content. You can get few campaigns, lots of single missions and access to pvp modes for free. The game is really cool and worth giving it a try. I missed it on release, but enjoying it now.

Actually returned to Witcher after the recent Netflix series, because I didn't have time for Blood&Wine campaign before. I have to admit it's pretty solid. Bright, full of jokes and adventures, engaging from the very first missions. Plot about high vampires is also very entertaining.
Witcher 3: Wild HuntIf you missed it for some reason, it would be your best bet to go for it asap.

I love this games
Samorost 3Chief 2
This beautifully crafted game is a true adventure set in a cozy micro universe. Really great points about it:
Samorost 3-Family friendly and even educating with it's puzzles
-Completely single and offline playable
-It's made without a single word, but the infographics are international
-Awesome visuals and great soundtrack
Gamazavr 2
Do you love boss fights? This game is all about boss fights in an open-world. Ride a horse to find a giant ancient colossus, take out your sword and try to climb atop of that evil thing. Every fight is unique and puzzle-alike action.
Shadow of the ColossusDuring this hunt on the giants you will find out about the story of this abandoned world and it will shock you!

If for some reason you missed it - make sure to give it a try, even after the years since release, Fallout 3 is still a masterpiece post-apocalyptic adventure rpg. It is a lot better than Fallout 4 imho.
Fallout 3End Boss 1
Quake Champions is still the best classic deathmatch shooter.
Quake ChampionsFast paced, quick damage, quick kills, quick moves - modern shooters rarely have those features.
End Boss 2
If you are looking for an offline playable action-arcade game, here it is. Tap smart to save your chicken from dangerous things across many levels with increasing difficulty. Ads and in-apps do not smash you and the game is overall very well made.

Just recently played it. I found the concept exciting - I love bikes and games, and together they are just great, the style is cool, but controls really need more simplicity, or an optional arcade mode in settings.
Steel RatsWhat comes to my mind is a combined keys for an action, e.g.: ASD - turns you around. A/D for speed/slow, W for jumps, S for actions.

Actually I played Heavy Rain after I finished Beyond: Two Souls so it didn't impress me as much as BTS. However, the drama was really intense, it is a thriller game, and unlike watching a thriller movie, here you get deeper into it.
Heavy RainThe game has many endings, and thanks to my gamer skill I was able to complete the game with the best ending possible.
For now I would suggest getting hands on Detroit and BTS first.
