Lethal Company
Objectives
You are a contracted worker for the Company. Your job is to collect scrap from abandoned, industrialized moons to meet the Company’s profit quota. You can use the cash you earn to travel to new moons with higher risks and rewards–or you can buy fancy suits and decorations for your ship. Experience nature, scanning any creature you find to add them to your bestiary. Explore the wondrous outdoors and rummage through their derelict, steel and concrete underbellies. Just never miss the quota.
Don’t go alone
These dangers prey upon the vulnerable and lonesome, and the protection of your crew may be your only hope. You can guide your crewmates from your ship, using the radar to call out traps and using the ship’s terminal to access remotely locked doors–or you can all go in together. The Company store has many useful tools for the job, including lights, shovels, walkie talkies, stun grenades, or boomboxes.
Work fast
Things get dangerous at night. Communicate with your crewmates to carry all valuables to the ship before things get too dangerous, and try not to leave anyone behind.

who ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cares if its been in early access for multiple years, some games are like that, its being made by a solo dev who doesnt want to hire a team and is making the game according to their own vision and i think that mentality should be respected in this day and age.
the game is cheap, fun, somewhat frightening, and thats all it needs to be.

The hardest part of the game is getting my friends on. Can't wait for the next update.

Management says ‘collect more scrap,’ but fails to warn me about the enraged IKEA houseplant with limbs and a personal vendetta against eye contact. It dragged me into the shadows like I owed it rent. Beautiful workplace experience. 10/10.

Okay, this game has a few pros and a few cons. Before I get into those, I'd like to make it clear that I do recommend and enjoy this game. Now that that's out of the way:
Pros
1. Really fun to play multiplayer, whether it's friends or strangers. The experience is always enjoyable.
2. The art style is charming.
3. The game can run on computers of all varieties, including potatoes.
Cons
1. The grind is INSANE. If you miss quota once, say goodbye to everything you've worked so hard to achieve. Personally, I like to collect new jumpsuits for my crew and I, so watching my collection reset time and time again is really upsetting. Also, this makes me less and less likely to play more as each time I get further, it's just another roll of the dice.
2. It's much harder to play single-player than it should be. Quotas don't adjust for the number of players in the slightest, so if you're further in the game, you better grab some friends.
3. Death is too fast. I've heard this complaint before, and I stand behind it. Dying in this game is too unavoidable and too easy. Yes, the clips are funny, but there has to be a middle ground.
4. The inventory is so small. Yeah, it works when playing alone, but when you're with friends? One slot will be used up on a flashlight, another for a walkie-talkie, and maybe even a third for a weapon, key, jetpack, etc. At that point, you can only grab one thing at a time, which is insanely frustrating.
My Suggestions
1. I think that when you die, all your equipment (such as flashlights, walkies, and shovels) should reset. However, the jumpsuits you purchased should stay attached to that save permanently. "But bro, that means we'll have unlimited jumpsuits!" No. Add a reasonable maximum number on the rack, as well as the option to sell existing jumpsuits. This way, the collection can stay with you, but change over time.
2. On the health matter, there's a few possible solutions. On one hand, you could add a cheap med-kit item, but you'd also have to increase inventory space by a minimum of 1 to compensate.
3. Either increase health or stamina. If neither of those, make the enemies less insta-kill.
4. Increase the inventory size. Either that or have designated slots for things like the flashlight and walkie.
Thank you for your time.

Even after 300+ hours of this game I still return monthly and make some of the best clips of my year. Truly an incredible game.

In my opinion the gameplay loop is the best thing about this game. The dungeons are procedural enough to where you really have to explore each round. There's a variety of enemies to be on the lookout for. I think the act of collecting items and entering the dungeons - that's the goal, but for me the fun moments that come out of that pursuit is what makes this game interesting, like when someone makes a sound near the blind dogs and you both die, or when someone steps on a mine or triggers a turret and then both of you die - that's the ultimate appeal of the game.
I will say though, the gameplay feel is very bad...
The jump for example feels horrible, probably one of the worst jump feels I've ever experienced in a game. There is such a delay that has no business being there.
The jetpack and cruiser are awful to control, the cruiser in particular...
When it comes to using the shovel - Not only is there a big delay in the hit...but I never know if I'm actually dealing damage to the enemies, there's never an indicator that they got hurt...nothing. No health bar or anything.
Also, for the inventory, I expect us to be able to access the items through the number keys 1-4, but it doesn't let you do that.
I will just mentioned that the jankiness of this game is part of its charm, so overall I do recommend you try this game out.
A big plus is there's mod support, so you can play with more than 5 people, you can customize your experience even more, so there's a lot of replayability!
