Yes, Your Grace tells a tale of Davern, a medieval kingdom ruled by King Eryk. The game is set in a fictional world where monsters and arcane practices inspired by Slavic folklore are the order of the day.
Villagers will ask for your help with various problems, from monsters attacking the village to a lack of places to relax and enjoy themselves. Some will bring humour to your throne room and some will present you with difficult choices. Your family is important too, and throughout your time as King, you will have to support them in their struggles.
You will face lords with a variety of personalities; you will need their support in order to win an upcoming battle, but some may ask you to perform dirty deeds to cement the alliance. One thing is clear: It won’t be easy to keep everyone happy...

Yes, your grace is a beautiful game that puts you in the shoes of a King. Every week, you are presented a number of people that come to you with their issues.
Some might be commoners who ask for supplies after being raided, while another might be a castle guard asking for gold to repair the dungeons.
Either way, you will need to find a perfect balance between who to help, and who to turn away. The game does a great job at making the game tough right from the get go. I found that very quickly I was struggling to help people that deserved it, and was under a lot of stress.
On top of all that, you have your own personal matters. Your wife and three daughters have their own issues and opinions. In between weekly hearings, you can roam different castle areas and talk to your family. Again, very early on, I found that the game made me make some heartwrenching choices, and I got attached to everyone quite quickly.
This is all despite the fact that the game's voice acting is all gibberish. It might sound weird, but although it's all just noises, I found that the actors did a great job at conveying the emotions required.
I thought that in general the game really exuded a fantastic atmosphere. Sometimes you feel dread, while other times bliss, and this is all emphasised through the beautiful pixel art, lovely music, well-written dialogue and item descriptions.
It also has some more interesting mechanics that go hand-in-hand with a captivating main story arch, but I won't go into that here to allow you to discover it.
Overall I really love the game. Everything about it is great!

It's good and I really enjoyed my time with it, but it only took 6 hours to complete and I don't really feel the motivation to play it again. Your mileage may vary on replayability though. I kind of wished I payed less for it.

A short but very fun storytelling game. Has great potential to have a longer lasting playtime than it does, but misses out on that opportunity. If you can get it for a small buck it's still very fun for a few hours.

It was a really fun game with a good story, but I don't know that it was worth $20. I only played for 5 hours and that was really taking my time and I doubt I would play it again.

The game was very good! I only wish that on your second play through that your actions mattered more, that you COULD change the ending as well as some of the outcomes in the game. If you could change paths, make the story branch more, make the decisions actually matter this would be an epic game. I'm not saying it's BAD, but as some of the reviews say with tweaking by the devs this game could be something very special. Give me a chance to continue the story, let me see potato head grow up! What type of adventures did the middle daughter have? And finally, if just on the SECOND playthrough let us change the fate of our eldest daughter. I mean for goodness sake if you could change the story one jot from the overall linear story this would be an EPIC game.

Beat it twice. Enjoyed it. Will probably never play it again. Worth the 17 bucks for sure.

( I swear i have played this game to completion in about 3-4 hours, i don't know whats going on with the timer; my achievements should prove my completion etc.)
If you have played not tonight, this game is essentially one step forward, one step back.
Not tonights biggest problem is that it was bogged down in busy work that was not compensated for by a good sense of progression. It went on for too long and required minimal effort; it was still good imo, and a nice spiritual descendant of papers please, but it wasn't as good as it could be.
Yes Your Grace fix this by shortening the campaign and introducing stronger resource management. This is less for customisation options (Not Tonight) or incentive for good work (papers please) and instead is a core feature of the game. You have to juggle resources both to achieve the day-to-day goal of keeping people happy and for the long term goal the game sets you. It does have busy work: frankly, unless you have daughters (which I don't) you may not instantly sympathise with the Kings position with his family, and the limited development everyone but the daughters get means emotional moments don't quite hit like they should.
Imo, the biggest problem is length: the game is not value for money. Frankly, I expected at least a third section (the game only has two). i know there is replay value but as far as I can tell you cannot alter the course of the story through your choices so this is is closer to a Mass Effect Three style slight-variations-but-roughly-similar-ending. Therefore, I would not recommend getting this game until at least 25% off, unless you really love this type of game.
Yes Your Grace is a good game that lacks content. I hope the developers can merge this depth of gameplay with the length of Not Tonight; i also believe greater length would allow for more attachment to the castle/family through customisation etc.
