We’ll always have Paris is a short narrative experience about loving someone with dementia.
This is the story of Simon Smith, a retired chef who lives with Claire, his wife of fifty years. Claire is slowly losing her memory, and Simon must balance his love for her with his desire to maintain normality and autonomy over the confusion that is infiltrating both their lives.
We’ll always have Paris is a wholesome narrative game that explores the lived experience of memory loss, and the beauty of a love that lasts two lifetimes.

We’ll Always Have Paris is a short but emotional game told from the perspective of Simon Smith, a man whose wife has dementia. It is a moving narrative experience about loving somebody with memory loss.
The game makes a large impact in its 30 – 60 minutes of gameplay and is a truly emotional experience. It offers simple block-colour visuals, immersive music, and a nice level of interactivity. It tells a harrowing but sadly all too common story of love, illness, and loss and does so in a respectful but honest way that really impresses the complexity and sadness of the situation. Despite the crashes and the fact that it brought tears to my eyes, I very much enjoyed this game and found it incredibly moving. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for something short, and simple but full of honest emotion and sincerity.

It's a short game but I appreciate the story that was being told. I teared up quite a bit at the end there. The puzzles are fairly easy to solve. Simple but nice art with some nice music. I enjoyed the experience.

A touching narrative experience, with delicate writing. Definitely worth the price. There's more emotion and truth in these 45 minutes than in all the rest I've played this year.

Thank you to Marina & Duncan for this lovely and touching story. This is not the first 'game' from you, I have played. I totally like the graphics!

We'll Always Have Paris is a very short point-and-click narrative about life with dementia. It's written in a way that allows the player just a glimpse of the difficulty, frustration, and fear that come with the illness. The game certainly packs an emotional punch.
