Seems to be an obscure RTT game that barely anyone knows about.
It's likely you'll find out about this one via Terminator: Dark Fate - Defiance or Syrian Warfare.
Would recommend... if you can deal with the semi-frequent crashes, manual and quick saving often is mandatory (to avoid losing progress mid mission and how easily units die).
The big negatives is having to deal with the awful pathfinding vehicles tend to do, either being stuck on each other and where the ATGM infantry shoot the missiles at their feet, killing themselves because they shoot mid animation when switching from their rifles to the launcher...
It's also mandatory to use dgVoodoo2 to mitigate most of the crashes and to have a UI that isn't super tiny when playing on 4k resolutions. (Though it does lose performance noticeably in the last few missions, but better to deal with that than have it crash constantly)
The fun part comes from building up a core army that persists mission to mission either from buying them on the world map or pinching them the enemy during missions, as a lot of the enemy equipment can only be obtained this way. (Leclercs, Challenger 2s and T-72MP tanks mainly).
Ammo and fuel management is also a thing, but if you played Terminator or Syrian Warfare then you will be used to it.
12 missions sounds short but a lot of them can take at least a good few hours or more due to trial and error or bad RNG with missing shots. Attack move with a blob is a good way to lose a lot of your army in this game.

Okay so right off the back, it definitely is a good RTS/RTT game. You should pick it up. It has a story, which is alright. The voice acting and dialogue is kinda weak but it wasn't too much of a problem for me, I was fine with it. If you are wondering, yes it's gameplay is almost 95% similar to Syrian Warfare, afterall it is made by the same guys and Syrian Warfare just uses an updated version of this game's engine. The missions and level design is pretty cool. The performance is stupid good. The graphics hold up well for the standards of the mid 2000s. The gameplay is fun and engaging, might be unforgiving too as well. I have encountered the crash to desktop bug once, but I can live with it. Overall I think it is a great game, and I guess you guys could pick it up. A 8/10 for me.

This is a really good modern era War/ Strategy game. If you've ever played Terminator dark fate defiance or Syrian warfare, this is the predecessor to those games. It was obviously made by Russians or people from a somewhat anti-American country tho. Becasue (and its kinda funny especially since its a game where you play as the American military exclusively) When you read the descriptions of units it clowns on US vehicles and hypes Russin stuff. Like calling the T72 the unsurpassed king of the battlefield in its description while saying the abrams breaks down and has armor that can be pierced by old RPGs or calling the Bradleys armor weak (which is funny considering bradleys are tough as ♥♥♥ and BMPs are cardboard boxes with alot of firepower). They even made the vehicles in the game realistic in the way that a bradley will beat a BMP in most fights and an abrams will win against a t72 most of the time, so the US equipment functions better even tho they describe it as inferior to russin stuff.
