Had this game on the wishlist, and was weary about the 17.99 CDN price tag. Honestly, I would pay that easily now having played and seen what the game offers. The trailers don't do it justice, and it's hella fun with some buddies. Three hours in and I can already see this game becoming apart of my regular rotation of horror indie games.
Looking forward to see the updates that come in the future. 2.0 has been a ton of fun as a newbie to the game.

The game's concept is interesting; people will say it's a copy of Phasmophobia, but Unpossess is about performing exorcisms.
It's fun and recommended to play with friends; playing it alone is...It was more complicated to carry the objects from the hut to the haunted place.
I know the game is supposed to be dark and gloomy because of the theme and the era in which the cases take place, but if you don't have a light source, it's impossible to see where you're going; it's too dark.
The candle doesn't provide much light, and some of the useful objects are modern and they distract me from the charm of the era.
Using a camera, a headlamp, and a flashlight in the 1800s?
It would be good if they added more cases and had more prop options that were more period-appropriate and didn't look so modern; besides holy water, a rosary, incense, and oil lamps would be nice.better with the era in which the game takes place.
I don't know if it was because of the time I played, but I couldn't find any matches or online servers at the time I played and I had to play solo.
I'll keep playing so I can give another opinion, but for now that's it. In short, they should have the option to change the ambient lighting to not be so dark or add more ambient lighting.

It's a good game, just gets quickly repetitive. I would like to see it updated more to spice things up so you aren't just repeating the same thing every game.

There's some things in this game that are unintentional that artificially balloon the difficulty, but there are other things that are so trivial that the experience isn't all that scary to me.
1. Attacks on the possessed.
Turns out that I have to look at the possessed and *then* right click. I was mislead by thinking that I was doing something by the indication 'hold to stop attack' when that just wasn't doing anything.
2. Demons.
Demons are trivial to deal with. Look at 'em with the holy book or crucifix (which you should be holding 90% of the time) and point and click adventure them. The nun and the dog are the only things I've identified as legit threats, everything else seems to be used only in photo evidence.
3. Item placement.
Item placement is randomized which is fine, but what isn't fine is that 90% of the items spawn inside, while 10% spawn outside. Without any sort of forced tutorial I had to look in the game's menus to figure out that portals can spawn outside, which isn't the case for any other item.
4. Demons vs Possessed
Every demon is point in the general direction, and the attack/possession seem to have the same visual indicator as well. I'd personally make the repelling of the demon a bit more involved (a high risk high reward sort of situation) rather than ease up on the attack/possession clear. Bring those more in line with each other since they use the same items to avoid confusion.
Overall I do like the bones of this game. It’s visually distinct and pleasing, the animations are wonderful, and the gameplay loop gets progressively more tense as time goes on. There’s just some obvious flaws that I dearly hope are fixed in the second game.

"You are going to Hell" the Demon says. Which sent me and my friend into a spiral, like isn't the Demon the pot calling the kettle black? Like they are already in hell. Which made me look up 'can a demon send u to hell', and it came back with saying 'Only God holds the power and authority to send a soul to hell' so..... honestly dumb ass Demons in this game man.

Overall Rating: 8/10 - Super fun asymmetrical game thats like Phasmophobia met Dead by Daylight! Great game to play with friends that feel relatively balanced on both sides. Definitely recommend, so long as they keep the game updated!

Just an overall great game. Lot of scary noises, and things chasing you. Great to pull out a cross and let them have it. Highly recommended with Friends.. :)
