This is one of the best pieces of interactive art ever made, if you have not played this. Please do it, just as a little treat.
I first played this game a year after my brother passed away in 2015. I was completely lost and losing my will and love of life, but somehow this little game brought me back from a very dark place. Back then I had to Pirate the game cause my family had no money and I was just a kid. As of today I have gotten this game for 8 people including myself.
Thank you Toby Fox. Thank you for giving the lost teenager a little under 10 years ago a reason to keep going, a piece of media that truly reached my heart. And thank you for working on your big dream of Deltarune. You're art and stories are so important and mean so much to so many people.
Edit: Hey I did not think I needed to say this but a few people now have made comments along the lines of "lol did not even play the game" (That I deleted cause it felt like bloat or ragebaiting)
I have beaten this game over 20 times, mostly 10 years ago when I was a child and could not afford the game and recently through mods like Undertale Connected with my friends and Red and Yellow.

Don't let the internet fool you into thinking this game is cringe and full of memes. Play this masterpiece yourself.

I first played Undertale eight years ago, and somehow it has never left me.

Since then I’ve played a lot of games, but very few have stayed with me the way Undertale has. What started as just another RPG slowly became something I genuinely care about on a personal level. The characters felt real in a way I did not expect, the music still stays in my head years later, and the choices I made actually mattered in a way that very few games have ever managed to capture.

Beneath the humor, the weirdness, and the simple retro visuals is something deeply human. It is a story about empathy, seeing the humanity in evreyone, and realizing that every person you meet carries something worth understanding. It made me laugh in ways I did not expect, it made me think long after I stopped playing, and at times it genuinely caught me off guard emotionally.

Even now, all these years later, I still find myself going back to the soundtrack and remembering moments that somehow never lost their weight. Very few pieces of media have ever stayed with me like this.

Undertale was not just a game I played. It became something I carry with me. A part of my life I did not realize would matter this much when I first started it. And even now, I do not think that impact will ever really fade.

10/10. A once in a lifetime experience that somehow still feels alive in my memory.

For 5 years my SO was driving me crazy with Undertale. Referencing characters, taunting me with jokes from this game. Promising to buy it and force me to play until the end. Telling me, "You WILL love it! It's the best that ever was!" To which I always replied that the characters are shallow, the jokes are stale, and the game is complete trash. That I'll leave a negative review as a comeback for my misery in case I EVER play it!

Given that you're able to read it, you can see that the promise was kept. Though not on my part, I'm afraid... (Shame, I know.) Because. Well...

I had such a fun time playing it! Despite my SUPER strong prejudice! It was a whole roller coaster! Never could imagine that a game like this could be so... Different? Wholesome, funny, sad, twisted... Yeah. The game becoming horror halfway through was the least that I expected. I... Dammit! You won! I LOVE this game! You ABSOLUTE monster!

I mean what's there to say its undertale. THE greatest indie of all time. Buy it play it then go buy Deltarune and play it. Then if he releases anything else buy that too.
