Between our world and the world beyond lie the Titan Souls, the spiritual source and sum of all living things. Now scattered amongst the ruins and guarded by the idle titans charged with their care, a solitary hero armed with but a single arrow is once again assembling shards of the Titan Soul in a quest for truth and power.

good game but walking to each boss is a bit annoying especially on deathless runs

One arrow is enough when every fight demands absolute focus
Titan Souls is a boss rush action game built around a brutal but elegant idea: I die in one hit, and so do the bosses if I can find the right opening. What stood out most to me was how much tension that creates with so little. Each encounter feels like a mix of reflexes, observation, and puzzle solving, and the minimalist world gives the whole experience a lonely, memorable tone. It can be unforgiving, and some trial and error is unavoidable, but that harshness is also part of its identity.
I enjoyed it because it never wasted my time with filler. Every boss felt like a real test, and every victory felt earned in a very direct way. I would still warn that it can be frustrating, especially if I am not in the mood to repeat fights and learn patterns through failure. I recommend it to players who like difficult boss centered games and compact challenges, but not to anyone looking for a relaxed adventure or a forgiving pace.

Still better gameplay than DS2's frigid outskirts

theres nothing more funny that dying in this game, or infuriating

I never finished a souls game in my live... but give me one arrow and a dodge roll and you got my attention.

Titan Souls is "Dark Souls" meets "Shadow of the Colossus", but you probably already heard.
Everyone keeps bringing up the similarity but fail to accentuate that this game does its own thing!
Made by a British indie team of just 2 people, this simple, small and short game proves to be sweaty, deep and not as simple as it seems.
The only Souls-like thing about it are the presence of bosses and the annoying backtracking after every death.
The only Colossus-like things about it are the not-so-huge bosses and the story that is very reminiscent of.
The game's gimmick about dying in one hit but also being able to kill every boss in one* hit, is what makes it unique. Skill or luck can mean you fly through this game in less than 5 hours.
But each boss is quite tricky and until you figure out their gimmick and pattern, you will die plenty. (The backtracking is truly a bihh even if the save points are pretty near..)
Titan Souls is for enjoyers of the genre, for masochists or those who want to challenge themselves. You ought to go in with the right mindset, or you'll end up like the crybabies on reddit who burned & crashed like Icarus.

The game is not fun, it is difficult and frustrating, but that's the whole shtick. At those moments when you finally manage to land a perfect shot, it is exhilarating indeed. But there are also many other games where I personally experienced the same euphoria.
Souls-likes don't do it for me. Nevertheless I beat all bosses, including the true secret boss.
I can't say I enjoyed/loved it but I appreciate it for what it is and see the value genre-enjoyers might find in it.
As I grow older, I simply don't have the time or patience for such stomach-churning time wasters.
(or maybe in the stress of life, this game did not offer the kind of escapism I was looking for specifically..)
It is a competent little game, don't let me discourage you.

VERY addicting game, as you literally always one shot away from victory or defeat. It reminds of me how I feel when I fighting a Souls like boss, where both you and the boss are at very low heath, and every action therefore feels significant. During a boss fight in this game, I always, in this mindset that victory is just around the corner, I just need wait for my opportunity to strike the boss' weak point.
