The Five Cores Remastered

Since this game is now free to play, I will go ahead and give it a neutral recommendation. However, I did pay $10 bucks for this and I don't think it is worth $10. While the game is a classic point & click puzzle adventure game from the 90s experience, it's also just as clunky as those games were back in the day.
First of all, locomotion is terrible. Whether you use free locomotion or teleportation. They are both a frustrating experience in this game. You'll either have sudden stops to your motion or you'll have to take several attempts before you can teleport where you want to go (or not be able to go there at all). The interactions are also out-dated. Good ole point & click in VR just doesn't really feel good. After about an hour, I just wanted to quit playing the game out of frustration.
On PSVR2, I could not get my motion controllers to work. On Quest 3, the game works using the VR option, but not the Steam VR option. I used link cable, virtual desktop may not work. You can play comfortably seated.
Rate 5/10. I would have given a negative recommendation if it weren't free to play.

Not everything was great... Buggy controls on my pc, and a bit short with a shallow story in general... However I can`t say I had a bad time playing it... Maybe the next one from the developers will be better! ;)

Игра "The Five Cores Remastered" – это достойное переиздание классической головоломки. Визуальное обновление заметно пошло на пользу, картинка стала четче и приятнее глазу, хотя суть игры осталась прежней. Загадки по-прежнему требуют логики и стратегического мышления, заставляя поломать голову над оптимальным перемещением кубов.
Управление по-прежнему отзывчиво, что очень важно для динамичных уровней. Новичкам игра может показаться сложной, но постепенно освоив механику, начинаешь получать удовольствие от решения все более комплексных задач.
Единственное, чего немного не хватает – это более разнообразного музыкального сопровождения. В целом, "The Five Cores Remastered" – отличный вариант для тех, кто любит игры, развивающие ум. Рекомендую к покупке, особенно фанатам жанра "головоломки".
