Solo-only review
Man of Medan is a wonderful horror game where choices matter. Top graphics. very moody atmosphere. I liked the characters and the story. Character interactions were believable.
I was afraid it would be very hard to figure out what choices best to make, and it seems it is. Advise: Do your first playthough with your heart. Ignore all game guides. Will you get everyone through alive? Probably not. Just take it as it comes and try to do better on a second playthrough.
Also give the Curator's Cut a chance which will unlock after your first go. You'll see the story from some other perspectives.
Personally, I'm not fond of quicktime events (QTE), but luckily there's a setting making them a bit more relaxed without any consequences for the story.
As for achievements, it's very hard and time consuming to get them all. Especially without a guide.
On my first playthough, I was able to save all except one, although the after credits scene might suggest a second death. Went for a 'save them all' run during the Curator's cut. Thought I'd done great. Got all characters to the end.. and.. well, let's say I unlocked the 'Not a sole survivor" achievement... what a game (insert crying-from-laughter smiley here)
Good luck! :)

Tried to be a hero. Became the reason. The reason for everything bad. Even the game was surprised. Me too...

The story starts simple with a group of friends going on a diving trip, but once they end up on the ghost ship things slowly get darker and more mysterious. I liked how the game keeps you guessing about what’s really going on.
The jump scares were honestly pretty good. A few moments really caught me off guard, especially while walking through the dark halls of the ship. The atmosphere is great too. The ship feels creepy and empty, and the sound design does a good job making every small noise feel important.
Another thing I enjoyed was the choice system. Your decisions actually matter, and anyone can die depending on what you do. That makes the game tense because you’re always worried about making the wrong move. It also gives the game good replay value since you can try different choices next time.
Overall, it’s not a super long game, but it’s a solid horror story with good scares and interesting choices. If you like story driven games where your decisions change what happens, this one is definitely worth trying.

sent conrad away in the speedboat and he literally disappeared for the entire rest of the game. 10/10

Man of Medan is a solid late-night horror game to play with friends, especially if you like making terrible decisions on purpose. The atmosphere is creepy, and the branching choices make replays fun to see who survives (or doesn’t). The pacing can drag a bit, but the tension and jump scares make it worth it. Great pick for fans of cinematic, story-driven horror.

One thing I learned from these games like (until dawn and the dark picture series).. don't be curious. Because curiosity killed the cat
