Swords and Souls — fully completed.
Started strong. Ended dull.
Good game at first… until the grind hit.
Early game? Fun.
Training feels fast, upgrades come quick, battles are satisfying.
You feel progress. You’re hooked.
But halfway through, it flips —
Everything slows down.
XP feels worthless, upgrades cost too much, and the fun starts fading.
By the time you're mid-game, it’s less about strategy and more about watching numbers go up.
Still finished it.
Not because I was excited — just because I already committed.
It’s not a bad game.
Just too grindy for how simple it is.
If it were shorter, it would hit way harder.
7/10
Started great.
Dragged itself to the end.
Glad I finished it — not planning to replay.

A return to the classic days of flash with a visual upgrade, better Mini games, a more thoughtful progression system and improved combat. If you liked Swords and souls, this is going to scratch that itch

"Neverseen? Never heard of it…"
...is what I would say if I didn’t accidentally sink 78 hours into one of the most surprisingly addictive RPGs I’ve touched in years. Between the charming art, grindable skill training, and arena fights that actually reward you for git gud-ing, this game hits the same part of my brain that loved Flash games and turn-based mastery.
10/10 would “Neversee” my free time again.

I've been playing this game non-stop for 3 days and I HAVE NEVER HAD SO MUCH FUN IN ANY OTHER GAME. please if you have the time, play the game. its the perfect level of farming, rng, and enjoyment, with great chracters interactions and HILARIOUS dialouge. I feel like, just like me, if you do read the dialouge and follow the storyline, you'll come to love the characters ESPACIALLY the 3 mercenaries. I basically spent all spring break playing this game and procastinating my homework, but it was SOOO worth it. PLEASE PLAY HIGHLY RECCOMEND.

I find the game fun and enjoyable. I like how you can either try to get the best combo possible or the bare minimum. It also gives you a fun story line and overall a fun game

Swords and Souls: Neverseen was a real blast for me, mostly because I loved the first game so much. If you're like me and spent hours on the original, you'll probably enjoy this one too. I'd definitely recommend it, even though a lot of my fun came from that nostalgic feeling. Though even if you never played the first one, this game could still be for you.
The game loop is pretty simple: train your hero, get stuff, fight bad guys, train your hero more, get more stuff, fight more bad guys, etc... I found it satisfying. But honestly, the fighting itself is a bit too easy (pretty straightforward if you like that). Really just quite boring. I kept wishing for more engagement in the battles.
The real star of this game are the training mini-games. Seriously, they're awesome. Intuitive, fun, repeatable, and nostalgic.
My brother and I actually made a whole competition out of those mini-games. For about a month, we were constantly trying to beat each other's high scores. Every day, we'd check who was ahead, pushing each other to get better. it was about the bragging rights and the fun of competing. That month of trying to get the best scores was some of the most fun I've had gaming in a while (sadly, he won in the end).
So yeah, if you liked the first Swords and Souls or just enjoy games where you build up your character and play fun mini-games, give Swords and Souls: Neverseen a try. It's a really good time.

Sometimes i look up if any of my childhood flash games got a new entry or smth and i found this.
Its a very polished and very cool game for what it is. dont expect an insane AAA game. But what it does i think it does well.
What was the main selling point to me other than nostalgia partially is that this game is unique. I have no idea what genre i would even put it in. This is exactly why flash games were so good, they were all unique.
