This game could be a one of a kind for an arcade.
Pros:
- Competitions: Many and different.
- Graphics: Cute polygon.
- Price: Worth getting on sale.
- Formation options: Many, and you may change players.
- Player's names and teams kits: Real player's names, like actuals teams kits.
- Not all players are equal— playstyle imitation.
- Extra periods and penalties in case of a draw.
- A referee is running in the field who will not hesitate to give yellow and red cards, penalties, and fouls and make mistakes and misjudgment with pride, of course!
-Even without sharing the patch news, notes, or details, the developer continues his work on the project. (last updated: 18/03/2021).
In between areas:
-The sound: there is no BGM, but crowd cheering and ambient sound are there and pleasant, not so special.
-The stadium: it is beautiful with cute signs and crowds. However, it feels alive only upon team entrance, no roof shadows in the daytime, and no nighttime matches to see light effects.
Cons:
- Control: it is inaccurate, difficult to get, and takes a lot from the playing enjoyment.
- Many bugs, "Not game crashing ones," will only affect and take from the gameplay.
This game is an ambitious project, heavily featured for an arcade football, and it has the potential to be the most enjoyable arcade football ever created, but in its current version, it is still far from there. If a significant update drop-off, I will come back to update this review.

Its a bit janky but it comes as an affordable alternative to shelling out $60 per year on FIFa and then God knows how much on Ultimate Team. The games controls could do with a little fine tuning, tackling isn't always responsive and there doesn't appear to be any button to change player. you have the basis for a solid game here just needs a little bit more boot wax on it.

You've heard it before. Really want to like this game and with a few tweaks, that could come true. Changing to the chosen player on defence is an issue. I like the look of the game though. The pace of the game may be a little slower than some may like but I'm good with it. Last thing is the AI. With these issues I'm still gonna' give it a "thumbs up" hoping for improvements.------------This is a later review. It is getting better. Good job so far. Oh' ya'. I wish there was a hockey game that looked and played like this;)-updated review: Game won't start...... All good now. Thumbs up. It keeps getting better. A Hockey game. Please.

I play this game on Xbox but purchased the game on Steam just to leave a review and hope to forward some of my ideas and improvements over to Ruben the developer.
I'll start the review by saying this game is great fun, and the Dev has done an amazing job. It's arcade-style shines through well and it's simple and not-so-serious gameplay allows for more or less anyone to just jump in and enjoy, whether you're a sports fan or not. I haven't done this myself as of yet, but I can imagine it to be great fun to play locally vs. a friend.
The game has an impressively wide variety of teams to choose from all of the top-flight leagues and nationalities, all with hilariously named players based on real-life footballers. I really appreciate the effort that the Dev has gone to with this, because it really adds to the experience.
There are League or Cup modes to choose from, and even training mode which allows you to get to grips with the mechanics before diving in to something slightly more competitive. I found even the small glitches in the gameplay add to the arcade experience, and don't take anything away from the gameplay at all - If anything they'll give you a good laugh.
I don't particularly have any Cons about this game, but I do have a list of improvements and features i'd like to see added to help bring longevity to the game, or else I can see myself and others losing interest after a few days of playing.
After scoring a goal, I'd like to see it announce the goalscorer perhaps in a small modal at the bottom of the screen. This could even keep tally of the amount of goals they've scored that game. I've found myself time and time again scoring and then being disappointed I couldn't cheer their name because I'm not sure who scored.
I'd like to have the option to make substitutions at half-time. And perhaps even the ability to view match statistics at half-time/full time with things such as goals, shots, possession etc.
Another suggestion would be to show who received a yellow/red card (similar to the way I suggested displaying the goalscorers). And then once a team gets a red card, it displays beside their score so that you're able to keep tally. This links up to the substitutions at half-time, as you'd know who was given the red card, and you'd be able to move a player into their position if needs be.
One last improvement for gameplay would be to add simple celebrations, whether it's just 'A' to slide or 'B' to cartwheel. Or even allow the player to run after scoring and watch the other players chase you around the field.
Now outside of the gameplay, I'd like to see the option to view league/cup top goalscorers/assists/saves. This helps bring a secondary level of competition to the game. This would help you to really get to know your players, and you'd be on the lookout for the best goal scorers on the opposing team as you try and guide your player to a golden boot award.
Id also love to see an option with League & Cup modes combined, so that you play cup games alongside the league, and compete for the league cup. Once again this adds more to compete for, because if your team is comfortable at the top of the league table, you still have a knockout cup to worry about.
I'd love to see a difficulty setting. As I played more, I found myself getting better and better to the point where there wasn't much competition left. Currently the only option is to turn down the game length giving yourself less time to score, but this doesn't work quite as well as a difficulty setting would. I've had experience with sports games in the past so I got to grips with it rather quick, so for me i'd like to see a slightly more difficult mode. And I can also see people struggling to compete if they've never played a sports game before, with how difficult certain aspects of the game can be (shooting & controlling the ball) so I'd like to see an easier difficulty for them.
One last improvement would be to add promotion/relegation to league play. I know this would mean creating more and more teams/leagues but this certainly wouldn't go a miss. It would be great fun to carry a League 2 side to the title, and then battle against the better rated players for League 1.
All-in-all this game is great fun, the arcade-style is hilarious and I highly recommend for the price. But without some of these improvements I can see myself and others losing interest. If you haven't already, I'd highly recommend taking a leaf out of SFG Soccer's book and seeing how that game works, as they include many similar features to those I suggested. I understand fully that this game is supposed to be simple, that's what arcade is all about, but I don't think my suggestions make the game more complicated, they're just small features that I think would keep people interested for longer.
Great work Ruben!

The gameplay and overall feeling pleased me, but Super Arcade Soccer 2021 needs important fixes such as:
- After some consecutive matches, framerate falls severely and keeps oscilating until the game is restarted.
- Sometimes when a foul occurs, the game freezes and it's necessary to close it by task manager.
- If you chose TV camera and afterwards change it to another view, the game resets to TV camera everytime the ball stops (corner, foul, throw in, goal kick etc).
Keep up the good work, this game has potential.

I have to say it's a lot better than the previous version, there are much less bugs (still some really weird AI moves, and don't expect the AI to be very challenging) and it's actually fun to play.
Good job

cool game I'm not fun of football games but I really enjoyed the game, the animation is good tho but I couldn't find algeria in team list and I will be happy if you add that to the game and I found a bug the ball stuck on players heads you should fix that and good luck
