As someone who's first street fighter was the recently released SF6, I feel that this game surprisingly holds up. The roster is stacked with fan favorites and cool newcomers, all with their own unique abilities brought by the game's universal mechanics in V-Triggers and V-Skills.
Now it will take some time for a new player to get a grasp on all the crazy things you can do with them, but I found the learning experience quite rewarding. And best off all, people are STILL playing this game! You could just hop into a Battle Lounge hand have a good time. If you're new to street fighter like myself and are curious about prior entries like this, I recommend you give this game a try.

Writing this review late but i guess better late than never !!!
Rating: ★★★★ (4/5)
Street Fighter V on Steam was my first fighting game i ever played !!
Gameplay and Mechanics:
Street Fighter V excels in delivering a balanced and dynamic combat system. Each character's unique abilities and V-Skills add depth to the gameplay, ensuring that no two matches feel the same. The learning curve is well-designed, rewarding dedication and practice, which is perfect for both casual players looking to enjoy a quick match and hardcore players aiming to master their skills.
Visuals and Audio:
The game's vibrant and detailed graphics bring each character and stage to life. The art style in my opinion is really nice i like the aesthetics some of the maps bring to the table !!. The sound design, enhances the overall experience, making every fight feel epic.
Online Play:
The online multiplayer component is robust, with smooth matchmaking and a strong community. The ranking system and various online tournaments add an extra layer of excitement for those looking to prove their skills. I really had the most fun in Online vs any other modes the game had to offer ! The ass whooping was from another world xD !!
Community and Support:
The Street Fighter community is one of the most passionate and most friendly in the gaming world. Capcom has done a commendable job in supporting the game post-launch, with regular updates, character additions, and balance patches that keep the game fair and enjoyable. The ongoing support and communication from the developers ensure that Street Fighter V remains a top-tier fighting game.
Conclusion:
Street Fighter V on Steam is a must-play for any fighting game enthusiast. Its polished gameplay, stunning visuals, and continuous updates make it a standout title in the genre. I had a blast . Its super sad no body plays the game since it was one of my favorite games from the series !!!
I hope you find this review helpful! Enjoy your gaming experience.

Pretty good game, it would be way better with a better netcode and without Luke tho

Fun. Works correctly. More characters and female characters to chose from in contrast to other SFs. A lot of sensuality. I can see why many consider SFV to be the last real SF. SF6 is quite different to the rest of SF and SFV is a lot more similar to the arcade titles.
Downgrades? Low fps? DRM hell? There's nothing wrong with the game. You can even uncensor it with mods. Enigma titles can use mods as well.
You know when players are triggered by a corp move like censhorship, drm, political statements, inclusiveness, etc.? They start trashing on that corporation's products. That seems to be the only reason these games (SF 30th & Capcom Arcade Stadium) are getting low review scores.
Capcom added a new DRM to some old games. It's quite pointless but I'm guessing they try to savage as much profit as they can from their previous works. It doesn't cause technical issues. Remember denuvo on RE8? They prob. made their own DRM to avoid Denuvo.
I don't agree with the idea of lying about the quality of a product because of your political view on piracy.

This game had a huge redemption arc. But most people are never going to see or experience it because first impressions are live or die for your game. The original launch and first three years of this game were a travesty and it's shocking it lived as long as it did. But they did work to make this game worth playing in the end even with some of its flaws and baggage still apparent.
If you can get it on sale for $5 it's definitely worth it but at this point I'd say just go for Street Fighter 6 because it's a better game in literally every single away except the roster is still small until more characters are added. SF6 goes on sale for $40 a lot and Capcom usually permanently reduces the main price of their newer games down to $40 after a year.

Street Fighter, the name speaks for itself. There is no competition with other games in the genre, Mortal Kombat, Tekken don't come close and it doesn't matter what Street Fighter you choose each one is a work of art that deserves to be in any gamer's library.
Street Fighter V is done amazingly well, when you scratch the surface, sure its just another SF game, but V offers you online play, skins, story mode, classic mode, play SF1 2 3 4 etc, the game is huge with options and customisation.
The game play is second to none, the graphics and audio at full blast just runs super smooth, its a joy to play and amazingly fun, especially when you go hard mode or VS mode and you just win or lose, if your emotional like me, SF5 will have you banging your desk in joy or disappointment!
