About the Game
The year is 2042 and the state of the planet has been in decline: bankrupt governments and ruthless dictators are plentiful, while selfish corporations rule the world. Injustice against the powerless population is rampant. But there is hope. Armed gangs organized by a shadowy organization are intent on battling the oppressive evil.
SquadBlast is a multiplayer side-scrolling tactical shooter. Its team-based battles are an innovative take on a shooter that you have to experience — meticulously balanced for fairness and incredibly easy to pick up and play. In SquadBlast, every bullet matters. You’ll need to adapt diverse lines of attack to claim victory in a variety of modes.
DEEP CLASS-BASED COMBAT
Choose from a roster of heroes, each with their own abilities, to turn the tide of battle in your team’s favor. You’re sure to find a favorite, but you’ll have to master them all – and even swap heroes mid-battle – to shut down your opponents’ dreams of victory!
AN FPS IN DISGUISE
Bring all your skills from your favorite FPS. Swap to your secondary after unloading with your main. Equip your melee weapon to run unburdened. Rocketjump for a greater vertical leap. Slide down ramps, bunny hop, vault over projectiles and more.
MEATY MULTIPLAYER
Jump into battle to master each essential multiplayer mode, from TDM to Capture the Point to Payload. Better yet, pick a custom match to choose the map, mode, and rules that suit you best. Lead your squad to striking locations across the troubled world of 2042.
GUNS GALORE
One thing’s for sure – there are tons of guns in SquadBlast, from assault rifles to rocket launchers to experimental supa weapons. Get your hands on each one and get a feel for the play style that maximizes its effectiveness.
SUPER COMFY CONTROLS
Pick up and play! All the controls are right where you’d expect them to be whether you’re playing with a controller or mouse and keyboard.

I have played this game for over 400 hours (it doesn't show it because there was a SquadBlast playtest and demo before).
What's positive about this game?
➤ The game is fun and does require the skill to dominate the game, so there is space to grow for the competitive side:
✦ MOVEMENT. Movement is important in this game to travel faster and to try to avoid the enemy and his bullets.
✦ AIM. know the bullet travel speed for AR, shotguns, and especially sniper rifles to try and predict movement to hit as many shots as possible.
✦ GAME MECHANICS, of course. Know fighter abilities and what they do. Know what the fighter's weak side is and use it against them (for example, ARX's weak side is that he is weak when he doesn't have his mech, which he transforms into, and while he has a cooldown for it, use it against him).
You can create a lot of different strategies for each of the maps and game modes because there are fighters with different roles, and if combined, they can make a great team, which couldn't be possible if you had tried it alone.
➤ Lovely community and support.
➤ Game developers DO CARE about the game and DOES listen to suggestions and feedback, and try to balance weapons if they are too OP or too weak.
➤ COMMUNITY TOURNAMENTS with Prizes! What prizes? Up to 500$ pools in Steam gift cards, increadible, right?
➤ There aren't only community tournaments; there are also contests! where you can get 20$ steam giftcards. Replay contest (best clip) Art contest (artists can show their creativity and show their ideas for the game).
Minuses about the game?
➤ Playerbase aren't that big currently, so most of the casual games you play will be paired against bots (at least currently when posting this).

Alright, I only played Squad Blast for under an hour, so take this review with a grain of salt.
What I liked:
* Gun play is done with a great attention to detail. Feels like the devs found the sweet spot between casual and hardcore here. Switching between primary, secondary, and melee, managing ammo, picking up enemies guns - all of it plays and feels super nice.
* Sound design feels good. Everything sounds juicy and gives the player right ques during matches (the announcer lines, the low ammo clicks, etc.), which is super important in the heat of the battle.
* Tutorial. It always feels good when devs think of new players and let them learn the basics before throwing them into a fight. Technically, there are two tutorials in the game: the normal one in the beginning and the playground where you can test the characters and the weapons on bot dummies at any time.
What I did not like:
* The interface feels too crowded and mobile-like. Not a fan.

Current Update 11/12. I cant believe im only logged 50ish hours i feel like its been 100s! Superb amazing job on this creation! Ive heard its been a while since this game has been worked on, but Im praying hoping as a serious upcoming gamer lets this game is PHENOMENAL. Making cool new gamer friends competing, winning really tough rounds with live teammates and losing to randomly hard bots or real good players.
Loving it could become my #1 game best Free new game but would love to buy content to get new new new non stop new hah! <3 until next RANT -Wolf
Played for almost 3 hrs straight wow. Superb game has amazing potential!! hope for the best in this one its already my 2nd favorite game after stumble guys on PC. and Brawls Stars on Mobile.
First 2 matches were with bots after that non stop paired with live people even made friends.
BUGS(Update : Has been FIXED SO AWESOME <3) mainly the partying system crashes about 95% of the time after the match. Have to restart the game completely to reconnect to the server. Really fun making parties and friends with ease but crashing after every game is very annoying luckily the game loads fast.
SUPER FUN Game. especially payload mode. PLEASE ADD MORE KILLS For TDM like 60+.
10 kills goes by in a blink and then just to crash and restart the game.. bah..
Overall all said and done a perfect NEW insanely COOL game will become a FAVORITE if people stay on and the partying system gets fixed, and the annoyingly low TDM score.

PLEASE some more FREE cosmetic options I love to pay for game content but appreciate a variety of free content too!! Keep up the fantastic work and more characters always nice! I though I saw the Missile guy with a Chaingun on the screen saver not a rocket launcher.., Ray gun could be awesome and a Monster character :D <3
Oh and... much more quests please like Fornites zillions of quests. weekly, montly, semi quartly, yearly, secondly quest lol QUESTS! REWARDS! FUN!! HOURS OF PLAY! SquadBLAST WHAT <3
lastly CTF would be awesome too in common rotation first to a million captures :D
