SNOW BROS. 2 SPECIAL
Snow Bros. 2 Special is a remake of ‘Snow Bros. 2’ released by TOAPLAN in 1994, and the IP license is currently managed by TATSUJIN, which inherited the legacy. It inherited the original’s main story of rescuing a princess captured by the devil, and the character design and graphics of the four unique main characters were upgraded to suit a modern style.
In addition, it supports 4-player multiplayer, which was not in the original, and is expected to provide a variety of fun by adding various modes such as original mode, survival mode, time attack mode, and sky run. In particular, the new content ‘Monster Challenge’ allows you to experience the unique pleasure of directly controlling the monsters that appear in the game to overcome the stages. In addition, the overall content volume is increased by adding new stages, boasting even higher quality.

Amazing game. I played a lot of this game as a kid and this remaster remains faithful. Improved gameplay, improved graphics, difficulty settings and language settings, secrets and achievements as well as tons of characters all with their own special abilities and all the other characters can choose which element they wanna use!
I'm giving it a thumbs up but I do have some issues with the game. No matter how fast i clear the 3rd world with Nick I don't get the achievement nor the character even though I've beaten it plenty of times with 902, 901 and 900 left on the clock. I've tried all of Nick's colors, I've tried beating the boss after or not beating the boss after, I tried turning off the game and doing that the first thing after I turn it back on and nothing works, The other time sensitive achievement doesn't work for me either, where you gotta beat the last level climb with at least 800 seconds left on the clock as one of the 4 main characters and I've done it with all of them and still nothing. I've climbed down the castle without taking damage and it still won't give me the fire character and I've killed 100 Paromos and I've killed myself 100 times while playing as Paromo and still nothing. I really wanted to unlock all of the characters but it seems like these are bugged :( Also I wish the names of the characters would be displayed in the character selection screen and I wish the question marks would give you some hints about how you might be able to unlock them.

Great revival of an arcade cult classic. Not to be missed if you enjoy the original Snow Bros or single-screen platformers generally.

Not sure it's nostalgia or not, like the classic gameplay and 4 person multilayer. Feel kinda lacking or different from memory though.

I like it. It's a great and faithful remaster of an old classic.
Me and my mate, Dave, would go down to the shop and play it after school.
It is THE arcade game i look for if I ever see an arcade.
I feel that Taito ruined the Bubble Bobble remaster, but Snow Bros. is thankfully faithful to form and function.
The game is the same as it was, just better.
Play the modern version with 'CRT on' to get an idea of what it felt like to be in front of this in an arcade in the '80s. It had awesome graphics and the sound effects while two players are jumping are amazing.
The shop used to store their coca cola right beside the Snow Bros. machine. My mate Dave would put his army jacket over a bottle, play a few games and then walk out with a bottle while holding his jacket.
Remember how you always seemed to have a childhood friend who wore army clothes in the '80s? Usually played D&D. Would push you over if you annoyed him. And mean it?
<Squirrel!>
Anyway, Snow Bros. is an enjoyable romp down memory lane.
Don't get annoyed at the game, remember this game is an arcade game designed to entertain, while being just hard enough to get you to keep parting with your quarters.
Fork 'em over fork 'em over. innit?
