World War III was one cruel tragedy, at least for the others. You seemed to have a quite nice time, hidden in your fancy penthouse at the Skyhill Hotel… Till the impact of a bio-weapon blew away the life you once knew. Now there are mutants everywhere, and they're eager to rip you to shreds with their vicious claws. But they aren't your only problem: Your supplies are running out. You have to leave your luxurious penthouse and search for food. Walking through the skyscraper means going through hell. There is danger around every corner and death is a steady companion. But seriously, how would someone prepare for something like this? It doesn't matter anymore. Nothing matters but survival. And time is running out.

SKYHILL is a unique zombie survival Roguelike game. Fast-paced and highly random, this independent game that pays homage to NS-Shaft to a large extent in terms of gameplay has both its attractions and major drawbacks.
The gameplay is simple and easy to understand, but it also requires some figuring out to fully grasp the game's mechanics. The depressing atmosphere, and the unexpectedly rich and reversing plot, as a low-cost indie game, SKYHILL certainly has some advantages to attract players to play.
However, SKYHILL also has a lot of problems. The game's tutorial is very short and fails to fully explain the game mechanics, which makes the player need no guide, often taking a long time to slowly understand the correct way to play the game. The random nature of the item search and the game's need for luck over strategy, especially the attack accuracy problem that has been criticized by players, makes the experience for most players likely to be very bad, and as players get deeper into the game, they will find that the gameplay becomes more and more repetitive and often loses its fun quickly. The game bugs that occur from time to time also damage the player's gaming experience.
Players who love zombie survival games and Roguelike games can try this game - after all, its price is not very high. But the game itself is not able to retain the charm of the players in the long term, should consider whether they can accept those drawbacks before trying.

I've been playing 3 hours so far.
It's the funniest game that I've played since years.
Sometimes you don't need AAA+ graphics to make a fun game.
This game is funnier than a lot of games with millions of dollars of budget.

simple controls but really bad balanced game with a nice story. you have to be lucky to stay alive and sometimes it makes the game very annoying.
but i can recommend it just for the endings.
enjoyed.

This game is addictive. There is crafting, body part targeting, a variety of more grotesque mutants and plenty of atmosphere. This is one of those games where it is 1 AM, and you work at 7 AM, but you tell yourself 'just one more floor' and suddenly you haven't slept, your dog didn't get walked, you smell like an unwashed teen after a day of forced yard work in July, work starts in 10 minutes and it's a 20 minute drive at the speed limit, and the only breakfast you have time for is cold coffee for yesterday morning still left in the pot, and half pack of bacon bits you found under your recliner last night. Yes, this game is (if you are at all like me) very dangerous. This could be Heaven or it could be Hell. Maybe you like a bit of pain with your pleasure? If Darkest Dungeon and Dark Souls frustrated you, then just keep walking. There are lots of casual farming games out there. No shame! (I play Stardew Valley myself.)

Good luck if you are in the vip room in the zombie outbreak.
