The game is really impressive especially when collecting wood for the fire and the meat to cook in the fire separately. I love that the girl comes to save you from the first time that you die but also has a great life that ties it all in that I won't give away. The guns, katana, accuracy and reload is on point to what you would do in real life taking the time to reload and defend yourself against the drunken enemy soldiers who are more zombie-like in the game. The elements due to surviving in the snow is one of the most difficult parts at first, because you have to figure out how to do everything using the materials that you have as well as gaining more by buying of the green guys and upgrading your character by the blue up key in the menu. The menu is easy to use, once you are able to figure out what goes where and it is especially fun to take the concentration to pick up the items in the “Mary Poppins’ bag as I call it since it is able to carry so many things but it is really realistic.
I really enjoy how fantastic the artwork and animation is in this game. It brings together the struggle of survival in life, the tragedies of war, as well as how love from another worldly person can bring harmony or be the one to save it, maybe; I won't give away the ending. It pink seals are so cute, every time I see one I just want to collect them all especially their movements make it so realistic like a real baby animal. The wood chopping action is really realistic too because it would take that much time to cut it down in real life. Trying to not be overrun by enemies is difficult but once you are able to figure out the mechanics as well as get all the parts of the radio together is ties all the story in together since it is based on the real event of Nikolayevsk-on-Amur. The flashlight is very useful at nigh especially when it can be difficult finding a fireplace at times. I like that you can pick your character as a Russian solider, Japanese solider or a school girl. Each character with their own weapons and specialty. This game is amazing, you should definitely buy it and fun to play!
