About the Game
You, a legendary retired veteran, are called upon for one last operation: to ascend a mega-city ruled by a corrupt conglomerate. You were chosen for this mission because of your signature chain-hook prosthetic arm and the ability to maneuver and quickly defeat enemies. The mission: to hunt down a mysterious entity known as “SANABI” and uncover corporate secrets hidden deep within the city.
An exhilarating platformerYour giant chain-hook prosthetic arm acts as both a method for quickly maneuvering around and also a way to swiftly take out your opponents. With your legendary skills, you are capable of using your prosthetic arm to jump over cliffs and skyscrapers, dash through bullets and traps and defeat powerful enemies. It’s time for you to come back out of retirement for one last mission.
A beautiful yet mysterious cyberpunk dystopiaMega-city “MAGO” is a high-tech city ruled by a corrupt conglomerate… at least, that’s what it was 24 hours ago. After a sudden blackout, all of its citizens mysteriously disappeared and the city was left in total chaos. It’s your mission to explore the depths of the city and uncover what happened.
Mari, the hacker prodigyA brilliant hacker and drone rider you meet during your mission. Mari can open locked doors, reveal enemy weaknesses and uncover encrypted information. Mari is lovely and reliable, but maybe just a little too chatty. Who knows though, this girl might be the key to finding SANABI.

My friend recommended me this game and so I was like "Oh alright! it seems pretty fun I'll check it out" and honestly I'm a sucker for game with grappling hook mechanics so it was definitely a steal for me.
What I didn't expect is that for a game as simple as this, that I would be emotionally invested and eventually bawls my eyes out.
In my 20 years of life I have barely cried over pieces of media, maybe like 2-3 times. And frankly this is the hardest I've cried at any sort of media, thank you for making this masterpiece Invader 303, it might not be a crazy game but for how it made me feel it definitely is my top 1 this year easily.

Greatest game i've ever played like actually everything about this game is perfect. Amazing story about a father on a quest for revenge with twists that are genuinely shocking. The music is unforgettable (And important to the story). Gameplay is simple yet so fun. I can see people not liking the amount of talking that's in this game but its the whole point of it. Wonder Potion created a masterpiece that i'll never forget. +THEY ARE RELEASING A FREE STORY DLC?! FREE? I WOULD GLADLY PAY MONEY FOR IT!

The plot is presented in parts and not from the very beginning. Even after completing the game, you will not be able to put all the puzzles together (although who knows, you may be able to). But going through the game for the second, third and more times you will discover an incredible story full of pain, despair and of course love. I'll mention the music separately, it's just incredible.
Of course, I would like some DLC for the game, since absolutely any story of other characters can be written into the storyline.
There is a difficult achievement "Complete the game without deaths on high difficulty". But there are no achievements related to speedrun.. I'd really like to.

this game is 10/10 MINIUM
the gameplay feels good and not clunky
story...... oh story..... its perfect. Plot holes are covered up by later story. The last part of the game makes you fell stupid and in the same time makes you cry

Purchased for $10. I must apologize to the developers, for I feel I have scammed them by paying so little for such a masterpiece.
SANABI is one of exceedingly few games that I will consider a 9 or 10 out of 10. Every frame of this game is breathtaking in its style, the animations are incredibly fluid, and the story is one of the best I have ever experienced in a game of 10 hours. Incredibly well balanced with a high skill ceiling; sections feel difficult at first but not impossible.
I will say the controls can take some time getting used to, and there are some instances of bugs like buttons not going off when they're pressed. But these are comparatively minor, and are utterly unimportant in this.
EDIT: I should mention this because there's a lot of comparisons to Katana ZERO going around. This is NOT an action focused game, this is a narrative focused game between two people. There is a lot of dialogue and cutscenes can be lengthy. Keep this in mind before you buy.
