Ruinlander
The events in the game take place several decades after a global natural cataclysm, which led to the emergence of large areas of radioactive wasteland. On the territories untouched by the cataclysm, city-states were formed, strengthened by the influx of refugees, each with their own orders and competing fiercely with their neighbours for the remaining resources.
Small villages and settlements fell under the control of such cities, or destroyed by various gangs of those who did not want to hold on to the remnants of humanity – raiders, cannibals, sadists and perverts. A multitude of gangs, from small groups to entire armies have filled the livable territories.
The player, in addition to maintaining the basic needs of food, water and rest, will have to make choices, the consequences of which somehow affect the world, in the face of emerging new threats in the form of disease and mutations. The player’s decisions can bend the world towards restoring humanity or give it over to rapid natural selection.

I like the idea of this game, but the combat feels unbalanced currently. maybe im unlucky.
first try, worked a few days to get some money, got food water supplies etc, went into the woods and died to 4 wolves.
second try, worked in the starting town for 40 days, saved up a lot of money, bought multiple guns, ammo, new clothes, body armor, gas mask, backpack, tons of food, water, supplies, everything. started heading off to explore, just following the road. first encounter was 3 scumbags with melee weapons. no problem im thinking to myself, just to die to them. all that prep and i cant handle a single fight?
ill try again in the future, i think this game would do very well with a more guided tutorial and campaign / missions

If you remember NeoScavenger you will like this game, if you remember Day R you will like this game. The curent state of the game is promising but it needs more of everything.
I played 40 minutes off camera and then recorded a 40 minute video
It's a hardcore survival game with a very restricting save system, you can use an expensive item to save or you can save in towns when you sleep.
You have all the rpg skills and mechanics you would expect, a few traits that change your playstyle and then its all about surviving and grinding.
You can work in cities, scavenge in the wilderness, find a few building to loot but it's a slow burn game, you start with nothing and have to gain money to buy a gun and ammo or maybe with melee.
It's a great project but it all depends on how much the devs update it, i recommand waitin 1-2 months to see if the devs update it often.
A game like this needs to be very well balanced and have a lot of events and stuff to do, curently it's just promises for fans of Neoscavenger or Day R.
Might be a game that never gets finished, i was expecting more polish.

Really nice hardcore survival game. Current state of the game already allows for a quite long playtime, many things to do if you don't mind some grind. If you liked NeoScavenger you will like this one.

I've been wanting this game since the Demo first came out. It is by a single Dev and he does listen. So playing the 1.0 there is a difference. I will give him a 2 thumbs up for releasing the game. With the knowledge that he does listen to what need to be improved. I am super happy that he made sandbox mode!

Well it boots. Looks very crunchy. Nice impulse price too you know if you might like it
e: so 18 hours later I'm still playing. Rare games get a hook into me these days but this just scratches some weird old school RPG itch I didn't know I had. Well worth the money even in EA state if you're into that sort of thing.

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome.
For now in Early Access it is a SANDBOX. Everything you do is up to you, but you have to, similarily to Kenshi, decide on what to do as there are few hand-holding anchors to guide you. You level up your stats slowly, gain money slowly, and need to save often to protect yourself from becoming early game dogfood..
My character has no finally combated the early region cold, and leveled my stats enough to have a higher survival rate. I have also earned enough money to start gearing up for my eventual journey through the wastelands on a pretty big and scary map. The game has depth and works pretty well... I might be lucky, but I have ZERO issues or bugs. I highly recommend this game.
