Ronin is stylish a turn-based action platformer following the exploits of a vengeful heroine determined to strike down five prominent figures of a powerful corporation. Move with precision by meticulously planning out each silent step, soaring leap, and devastating swing of your blade from the shadows as you seek your revenge.

Ronin is a stealth action game with an innovative turn-based combat system that's all about dynamic movement to avoid enemy lines of fire.
You play as a woman whose father was murdered by an organization he once worked for. She wants revenge, and plans to kill everyone involved with his murder, taking down the organization in the process. Simple and effective action film plot, works perfectly well to set up the game's vibe.
Gameplay involves infiltrating facilities, downloading information, and finally hunting down your targets. As long as you stay in the shadows, enemies won't notice you and you can take them out stealthily. Once you are spotted, the game enters combat mode and becomes turn based. During combat, you have to aim your jumps to avoid enemy lines of fire - take a single hit and you're dead. When you jump into enemies, you will knock them down for two turns, and when you're close enough to an enemy you can insta-kill him with your sword. There are also special attacks which are unlocked with skill points earned for completing bonus objectives in each level (don't kill civilians, don't raise the alarm, kill all enemies).
The game has three types of enemies. The simple pistol-armed guard who will fire a single shot at you, the assault rifle guard who will fire a full auto salvo at your current position (creating an area of suppression you cannot jump through without getting hit), and the armored samurai who has a sword and will jump at your current position to strike you in melee. During combat, you have to assess the different threats and deal with them one by one; it's a very methodical approach to combat, yet it still feels smooth and fast-paced.
The game's jumping mechanics can feel a little wonky sometimes, but once you become familiar with how it works, you always have a pretty clear idea of what is going to work and what isn't. Once you unlock a couple of special abilities, your tactics will revolve around chaining up combos and using your abilities to shift the battle in your favor. Every single ability is useful in this game, and a couple can even be exploited if you know what you're doing.
Overall, this is an excellent game and a LOT of fun to play. I finished it twice, once in normal mode and once in the harder New Game Plus mode. It took me about ten hours to fully complete, with all achievements.

OST kicks ass, interesting puzzle game with some mysterious plot. Also if you git gud at stealth it's just really awesome, but it takes time to understand what you can do.
