Ronin is stylish a turn-based action platformer following the exploits of a vengeful heroine determined to strike down five prominent figures of a powerful corporation. Move with precision by meticulously planning out each silent step, soaring leap, and devastating swing of your blade from the shadows as you seek your revenge.

Quite a fun game, with extremely rewarding gameplay, if you can get past the sometimes awkward controls and aren't afraid to try again and again to get the perfect run, especially in new game plus.

I don't think I've ever played a game that feels this satisfying, one of the only games that I come back to over and over again and never get bored. It's not super long and there are a few bugs regarding collision but overall it's just a wonderful experience to play.

Though maybe not as prominent as Vanripper's later games, like Helltaker, RONIN is a solid and fun platforming stealth action game with excellent tone, soundtrack, and simple fun. The game is certainly challenging - especially on NG+ - but the generous checkpoints and increasing power make it always survivable. A solid choice for someone looking for a fun few hours with great aesthetics and feel.

I have really enjoyed this game, I just finished the new game plus mode and wrapped up all the achievements. I would highly recommend this game to someone who wanted a cheap fun and deep experience. I also want to say thanks to the developer for creating such a great game. Sooo Thank you!

I've seen this game back in 2016 and thought it looked cool, the art and soundtrack particularly sticking with me. I never bothered to buy it until just now for some reason, but I'm glad I did as this is fun as hell. I initially planned on just beating the first chapter or second before taking a break, but before I knew it, hours went by and I have already beaten the game. The gameplay is challenging and a little frustrating at times (fuck the riflemen), but it's nowhere near unfair or poorly designed.
The story isn't really anything special, just the protagonist offing the assholes in charge of evil megacorporation #4822 who were responsible for killing her father. Whatever, it works, not like this game's selling point is it's story anyway. The real deal is the kinda-sorta turn-based action gameplay. It's a bit janky at times, but when it clicks, you can pull off some insane shit and feel like an absolute badass. It also has some stealth mechanics sprinkled in, which I can't help but appreciate.
As I mentioned before, the game also has a brilliant and distinct soundtrack composed by Patryk Karwat, complimented by equally brilliant and distinct artwork provided by Ćukasz Piskorz (AKA Vanripper, AKA the dude who made Helltaker).
Sooo yeah, game goes hard. It's tenth anniversary is a couple weeks away, so that's cool.

An addictive action/puzzler for those who like Ninja games like Mark of the Ninja as well as high intensity environment puzzlers like Super Meat Boy. Found myself constantly wanting to try just one more time to perfect my previous attempts at cleaving through each stage. Highly recommend and only wish I'd given this one a chance sooner.

This game is great. I finished it a few times and I have to addmit, it is a bit repetetive, but I liked it either way. On the new game plus it got really challenging, so if you like puzzle games and you're a fan of Gunpoint, I can surely recommend it. I think arround 12h is the max. you can play out of it.
