Rock 3
Rock 3 is a procedural world generator to build believable and interesting earth-like worlds. By modeling tectonics and climate it drastically simplifies the process of building detailed and realistic biomes across continents and islands, while providing the controls you need to fine-tune and customize near-infinite possible planets. Save your worlds as equirectangular projections of biomes, elevation, heightmap, heat, water, and landmasses.
Rock 3 generates planets entirely on your GPU. It’s not recommended to run this on a laptop or other device with integrated graphics. Your experience may also be compromised on an old or low-end graphics card. In some cases scaling the resolution of the planet down can improve performance to usable levels. Maps are always saved at the highest resolution.

An excellent tool for creating and modifying worlds. One sore point: the sidereal year, at 25% makes the northern hemisphere warmer, and at 75% the southern hemisphere is warmer; however, when viewing the globe, at 25% the arctic is experiencing polar night, and the antarctic the midnight sun, and vice versa at 75%. I believe this is some sort of bug.

This is possibly one of, if not, the best tools ive used for worldbuilding.

I like this one! but....
I do think this Program needs some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism:
1.Getting the resoults you like is HARD like almost imposible, and this leads to the next point
2.You can only Save by exporting, AND you can´t export the timeline, only a Picture of it of a single Mega-anum so You are Only left witha few options, Or you are insane and export every million or so years or you film a video at the cost of lossing some information
But here are my fixes: Give the player some more controll(if you can do that)Make it possible to save the whole timeline within the program,Let us go back to points in the timeline without nedding to reset every thing...But
there is still a reason im recomending this because i see Real potential in this and i hope my critisizim isn´t unheard
But anyways Keep woring hard! >:3

Great app. I spent 930 hours trying to find the correct planet lol still looking. 10/10 geological suffering

Excellent for worldbuilding with accurate mountain ranges, great for my Kobalera project.

The best free and realistic world generator I have ever seen.

Amazing. A map generator with tectonics and erosion simulation, not to mention a load of other factors for those who want to make realistic fictional maps. Great export files (but would appreciate some more options like a gif/video of satellite throughout the year or just images at equinox/solstices)
