It was a nice speedrun to do achievements againts people who played this game till day one. In my opinion, they should just let people host game, wont make huge difference.

Re:Verse struggled to establish itself as a lasting multiplayer experience. At launch, its limited content — with only a handful of maps and modes — combined with balance issues that left certain characters noticeably stronger than others, made it difficult to maintain long-term player engagement.

To open this review I will say this game has been abandoned by CapCom and can no longer be played. When i first heard news of this I had not played nor cared about the game but once it came down to the games last day alive I decided to give it a go and grind the 100%.
Story - 10/10
Play any rezzy game, its a multiplayer PvP game with the characters from the mainline games.
Gameplay - 10/10
I'm making this review MONTHS after so I 100% will miss some stuff. The gameplay was all PvP with alot of lobbies dead since the game never took off. It was a shame to see it left to dust as the 3rd person combat was extremely fun with different weapons and mutants using their signature powers from the game. Matches would start with everyone spawning away from each other on maps based on mainline game locations (my fav was the baker house). It would then go from simple walking and running about to 100 REAL QUICK!!! a total free for all. The characters you can play had their own skills too which made combat fun as no one will ever be the same kit. After a few minutes of fighting the players that are ontop will start to run out of ammo and options to fight which makes them an easy target for the losers to claw their way back to the top. Occasionally a mutant power would spawn around the map that once picked up and used will turn the player into a creaute/mutant from the mainline games which includes the tyrant, Nemesis and the hunter and these were FUN to play. Charging down a corridor at full speed after a Chris Redfield as the Nemesis was the most fun I have ever had playing a PvP game.
Replay ability - 1/10 or 8/10
The game was fully focused on PvP and as such had a ranked mode that was sweaty but had its moments, if you aren't a PvP guy you wouldnt have enjoyed this game other than the party game elements where you will play it once with friends and never again. As a huge competitive PvP guy however I loved this game and could have played it for HOURS more.
100% - 9/10
I mean... I done it in 4 hours....
Difficulty - 0/10 - Was not hard in the slightest
Grind - 3/10 - The top 3 achievements took me a game or two of being locked tf in
enjoyability - 8/10 - There wasn't many bold achievements that stood out to me, mostly just playing a few matches and levelling up
Overall - 9.5/10
Although I played the game for only 4 hours on the games last day alive I had the most amount of fun I've ever had since I first played Black Ops 2 and knowing those 4 hours were the only hours I could have ever played is saddening. The game had so much potential and could have been something amazing for the resident evil fans but alas money is what killed the game in the end. If the game was still available to play I would've recommended this to everyone that is a fan of RE and if CAPCOM ever decides to bring it back or a game similar you cane expect to see me playing it for HOURS.

This game remained in my Steam library since I bought the RE Village bundle in May 2025. Before opening it, I saw many negative reviews, and I also viewed gameplay footage. However, the game footage I have seen is more than enough to form the basis of this review, even before attempting to launch it.
When I finally opened the game, I received a message stating that the servers for this title had been ended and were no longer available. Because of this, I was unable to access any matches or observe how the gameplay functioned directly, which left me unable to explore the experience beyond the videos I had already watched.
I do not want to give a negative review, as I have not actually played the game myself. Also, the game has since been removed from the store. My review is based entirely by the available footage and the server message shown on launch. This review is simply to share that situation for others who may encounter the same outcome.
