Resident Evil Re:Verse

This game seriously isn't as bad as people say; the only thing that sucks, is that it only has 1 server in North America that's supposed to be used by the whole world, and if you're not based there, you'll lag a ton (making the game borderline unplayable). However, if you have the program ExitLag which reduces your lag in certain games, it makes the games wayyy more playable and enjoyable. Sad to see this game go, but it was fun for the little time I played it.

I'll miss those ♥♥♥♥♥ emotes the most. That one Ada who used to beat my ass up. The HUNK who was always invisible. The Jill that was always AFK. The NEMISIS that would bully us with the rocket launcher. I'll miss the same 12 people who were always online.
This game was an underrated gem, Capcom.
It should have been Resistance.

This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks and is a mess, but it's MY mess. Towards the end of my achievement hunting I came to accept and love how broken and stupid this game is. Sad to see that it's going soon though, I wish we'd preserve it.

Pretty unlucky game that suffered most from it's distribution method (it really needed to be made available separately, not bundled with single-player RE8, so more audience which would in theory like that game could play it) and lack of long-term post-release support. While it has many flaws (which were discussed times and times before), it can be really fun for some quick matches.
Initially I didn't like it very much on release due to it's chaotic nature, later I grew to like it for what it is. What other game can allow you to play as some recognizable monsters from RE series? For some reason, this niche is very limited. And while I understand reasons many would dislike this game (or just be disappointed in it) - I'm certain that all the hate was too much. Game did deserve some love, both from it's publisher, CAPCOM, and from players.
Can't tell for other people, but one thing is certain for me personally: RE:Verse will be missed.

It was a nice speedrun to do achievements againts people who played this game till day one. In my opinion, they should just let people host game, wont make huge difference.

Super fun game, lots of customization and it's great being able to play with and against my favourite RE characters. Can't wait to play more !

I just finished doing a RE:VERSE community send off stream for the very last time before the termination of its online service.
As someone who has enjoyed the short life span of this game, I am very sad for this day.
Regardless of the negative reviews this game may have gotten, I will never not appreciate the effort and love the team put into this game, unlike Resident Evil 0
