In game, you be man named Ethan. Ethan look for wife, she go missing. Ethan find her in big, creepy house. House full of bad people, they like monsters. They try hurt Ethan. Ethan fight back with little knife, then gun.
House have many rooms. Some rooms have puzzles, make brain work hard. Me not like puzzles, but feel good when solve. Game have many scary sounds and things jump out. Me jump too.
Ethan fight big monsters, very strong. Need use smart and weapons to beat them. Sometimes hard, but feel strong like bear when win.
Ending very good, Ethan save wife and live happily ever after.

Resident Evil 7 game
I had no hope for this version after finishing the previous versions
But when I called, I encountered something different and a much more strange atmosphere
The atmosphere of the game is very different from the previous series. The way of getting a weapon and the opening of the game attracted my attention. I can really say that it is a different game compared to the previous series.
The atmosphere of the game is really frightening and very scary
3 main shamans, the father of the family, the mother of the family, and the son of the family, whose face and behavior are very well done, and each of them has a region.
The story of the wonderful game and also the sound like the sound of doors opening and closing and the sound of wind and footsteps inside the house
The game was great

-Good balance between dangerous areas to move through and safe areas where you can focus on other goals
-This is especially important for me because I'm terrible at getting around enemies (I can't play Outlast) but games with almost no real danger can get boring quickly. This game is PERFECT.
-Good story. Good pacing. Made me want to figure out what the hell's going on.
-Nothing repetitive
-The illusion of choice. Cruel reality.
-The first horror game I ever bought was Amnesia; The Dark Descent and ever since I've been waiting for something to match it. This might actually be better.
CONS:
-I honestly don't know.
-You can't jump.

I've always been a huge RE fan, and I'm pretty much only disappointed that the "final boss" is just a glorified quick-time-event, sadly. But I'm very satisfied that RE7 actually feels like a horror game, like the first three, and not like RE4-6. And if you're having a bad day just think of Ethan Winters, he's having the worst day ever.

This game has always been awesome and it's still great. The scariest Resident Evil game by far.

Phenomenal game with an amazing atmosphere.
What people generally call the first half of the game (to me it's more like 65%) was some of the best survival horror I have experienced in a game.
After that the game does go down a bit When you get to the ship/tanker and play as Mia .
All in all, the game has very few negatives, enemy variety isn't great, Ethan "runs" really slowly (I can understand why), the last part is still good but not even close to the rest of the game and I personally didn't like some of the DLCs that much (mostly because of Professional difficulty on Not a hero and Joe must die on End of Zoe, that was some bullshit)
This doesn't mean the DLCs were bad, the Banned footage DLCs were quite good, especially the Bedroom, 21 and Daughters DLC.
Even taking these aspects into account, the game is amazing, the atmosphere is incredible, it has very few jumpscares and the ones that it does have don't feel cheap, most of the time you think something is going to happen and nothing does, it's just the atmosphere that makes you think that.
In my opinion, this is better than Village, not by a long shot but still better, the high points of RE7 are really high, and its lows aren't exactly bad.
Village is also a really good game, I just found myself enjoying 7 a bit more.
RE games aren't know for their soundtrack, but this game does have a nice rendition of "Go tell Aunt Rhody" as the main theme, which is always a plus.
Another really positive thing is that you can get this game dirt cheap on a sale, along with Village, the 2 games combined make for a really good experience and they also conclude Ethan's story.
In terms of visuals, game looks really good considering it is from January 2017, the RE engine is a pretty good engine (maybe not in DD2). It is also well optimized, you don't really need anything powerful to run this.
If I had to give this a score it would be 9.1/10.
