Redeemer: Enhanced Edition
REDEEMER is an intense Brawler where you will punch, hack and blast your way through enemies using fists, hammers, fire arms and even the environment. It grabs the genre by the throat and drags it into 2017 in brutal style by adding a deep melee combat system and numerous unique types of kills. Redeemer is the brawler for those who love brawlers and have been waiting for a modern take on the genre! Play as Vasily, an elite operative who once worked for one of the biggest Cybernetic Weapons Manufacturers in the world. Officially working in security, you were tasked with infiltration, assassination, extortion and even torture. When eventually the corporation decided to turn you into one of its cyborg soldiers, you manage to narrowly escape to a secluded monastery deep in the snowy mountains. For 20 years you tried to find peace and harmony amongst your fellow monks, but you are still too haunted by your murderous past to find either.

An addictive martial artist beat 'em up with gunplay, and The Punisher-style executions
One of the best of its genre imo

Simple, mindless fun. You're a retired military turned to a life as a monk, but some people do stuff to upset you and things turn gory very quickly. Played through this on a single Sunday and managed to unlock all achievements in less than 8 hours. A pleasant experience.

Redeemer is $10 for about 3 hours of high octane constant beat-em-up gory action. The game starts at 100mph and refuses to let up on the gas pedal.
The combat is simple, 1 button to punch, 1 to kick, 1 to roll, 1 to parry. You've got a little bit of versatility in some minor combos, but it's fine because the game has a ton of weapons to pick up to dismantle your enemies with. Enemies explode into geysers of blood across the screen as you hack and shoot your way through each level.
The upgrade system at first seems very simple and anemic, but by halfway through the game I really appreciated that the upgrades weren't afraid to let you become an absolute monster. At times I felt like I was "breaking the game", but it didn't matter, its fun, always engaging, and there are some sections that offer a legitimate challenge.
The only drawbacks I have are the fact that some environmental effects/traps can essentially 1hit k.o you. Fire, BURNS quick. And electricity can stunlock you to death at some points. Luckily in each of these instances, a checkpoint was very close behind so I never lost even more than 30 seconds of progress.
Redeemer is well worth its asking price of $10.

Dear Russians !
U've just made a pretty damn good job ! With basically everything.
The only things that sucks is boss fight's and I mean u just need to spam that space and hit em hard 2 times and then get out again and again and ooohhhh fck it !
The second is Ai jesus. I can execute someone with a hammer beat him to death to the ground and in within 5 meters noone noticed it :P Damn what a shame.
I loved the executions, upgrades, a new area of different enemies.
There is some levels that I couldn't beat up easily but as U can see Imma hardcore player so I have managed to do so ! <3 Im gonna master the game I think and I will be gladly enyojing it !
I hated those electricians fkcing disgraceful but instead it was pleseant game
A pleasure ! <3

This is the story of what happens when a military-corporate mogul is stupid enough to undo a monk's path of atonement
The one said mogul trained in black-ops and has been studying murder arts for decades

I've had this game on my system for awhile but hadn't played it. So I decide to play it and its awesome. graphics are fantastic and the story is entertaining. I didn't pay a lot for it and it's worth every dollar.

incredibly smooth and reactive game play with a simple story akin to stuff from 90's. Challenging but not overly grueling, I had a lot of fun with this one. Can't wait to see how the dev's do with Kiborg!
