Razenroth 2 is a dark action game with RPG and roguelike elements. Enter a randomly generated world of nightmares and fight with an army of dangerous monsters. With an extensive character development system and a large number of magical weapons, every game is unique.
The game is set a few years after the events of the first part. Razenroth, although defeated earlier, is still a huge threat. This time Charles Carter, the main character, has to get rid of him once and for all.Main features:
- Randomly generated levels in 5 separate sceneries. Additionally, a few secret locations to discover.
- Dozens of magic weapons to find. The player can use, among others, the elements of fire, ice, wind, and lightning.
- Many items to discover. Elements of armour, amulets, books, potions, magical artifacts, and many other things that will help you in battle.
- 6 Playable characters. Two are available from the beginning. You can unlock the other four as you progress in the game.
- Helpers. Pets with useful skills will help you in the fight. In addition, you can hire mercenaries who will fight by your side for a fee.
- Advanced character development system. While earning experience, each character can develop their statistics by choosing from several available options. There are also talents that allow you to create a unique character, tailored to your preferences.
- 60 achievements waiting to be unlocked.

I have to say, as a loyal fan, this game is pretty good too. But compared to the previous version, it's not that interesting. Compared with the previous work, this work has some new content and made some changes. Let's take a look at about those changes.
1. The graphs of the game has been slightly changed, which is more refined than the previous one. You can no longer only see characters' heads, but their faces. And there are different motion animations when the character switches weapons.
2. The game has added ng+ setting, and the weapons and skill books obtained from the ng+ have new additional attributes. The damage of ng+ monsters will be higher, and the skills of the boss will become more severe.
3. The game has added a hidden secret scene map, which allows you to play an extra map or get a little of benefits. Although this scene was also present in the previous generation of games, it was of limited use. Every secret scene has an achievement, and I don't know if the odds are too low or I'm just unlucky, there is one scene that took me a long time to find it.
4. The game is still the same rogue-like gameplay as before, but the attributes of backpack props have been greatly weakened, and the difficulty of obtaining is far more difficult than the previous version. Now the crit chance attribute is not so easy to stack up. Unless you spend a lot of time passing countless ng++++++++++++++++.
5. The biggest disadvantage of the game is also very obvious - can not save. The save mechanism of the previous version was very criticized. I didn’t expect that the second version games could not be saved at all, which seems to be completely outdated in 2022. It can only be regarded that the developer's development level is limited. Likewise, the game has some minor bugs, but it doesn't matter.(For example, the bucket needs a collision of the character to move, and it can't move if it accidentally moves to a dead corner.)
Overall, considering the game's value for money, this game is okay. But obviously it couldn't get me as addicted as the last version. I think the first version is a lot more fun than this one. In other words, the quality of the new work has regressed. But what deserves recognition and praise is that it has added a lot of new content. But it also discards some of the previous advantages. If there is a chance, I hope to see the third work, and I hope the next work will be more excellent. I will definitely buy it at that time.

I enjoyed Razenroth and this game escaped my wish list. Already I am seeing more improvements to the original along with content and story that hearken back to my many hours into the first one. Keep it up Enitvare you have a fan in me.
UPDATE: Game is still awesome.

Hey! I am a fellow indie game dev, We have been checking out random indie games on stream so if you want to see the gameplay of it check out here: www.twitch.tv/sfsben
My review:
Things we liked:
-I liked the art style and general feel of the game.
-Gameplay was really fun and wasn't confusing to figure out what was happening
-Randomness and replayability of the game. I can very easily see myself putting a ton of hours into this game.
-The leaderboards are really fun.
-I liked the different characters and abilities.
Things you should add/change:
-Minimap of some sort on the levels
-show tooltips on item comparison. It was hard to compare items. Also the tooltip didn't refresh unless you moused off and back on as well
-Controller support: Feels like it would play really well with a controller.
-The starting mouse/camera movement is way to high. It was nauseating to play with it, if we didn't find the setting for it, it would be hard to play.
Overall this game is totally worth the $5 USD that it cost on steam it is worth a look, I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun I had with it.

If you liked Razenroth then you'll like this even better.
Lots of cool weapons (wands) that you can pick up to swap out your current weapon. There are directional magic missles, wavy bolts, laser beam, bombs and more. Then you have your alt attack which is a mana-consuming attack - you can also find wands to swap out your alt attack.
As you kill, you gain XP and level up your build. There are a wide array of skills to build off of, and some really interesting combinations.
The UI is clunky as heck just like the original, and an input scheme that has four times as many inputs as it needs. You have to HOLD down the mouse button to shoot... so you can see that there is little thought here from the devs. There is a magic portal that can spawn in battle and run away with legs... when you chase down the portal and activate it, it a pop-up Accept/Decline window appears... in the middle of freaking battle. Crazy input insanity all over the place.
The thing that has improved the most is the enemy behavior and variety. They used to pick a direction N.E.S.W. and run willy-nilly. Now there is some randomness but they also have behavioral patterns. Some run at you, some keep their distance, some jump at you, and so forth. A big upgrade.
It's not going to win any awards, but it has enough going for it, lots of cool items, spells etc. You can build different ways and it keeps you coming back.

Decent Roguelike with RPG aspects and has different characters to play that come with their own skills, only played for just over an hour however this is a game I can see myself coming back to. I would totally say this game is worth buying.

Really fun game! Lot of great ideas here. Some talents could be written more clearer.
Boss fights are original and fun.
Atmosphere is great too.
Only occasionally hangs up, pretty stable.
Worth the $5.

I picked this game up when it was on sale for like a dollar or close to it, It is defiantly worth a dollar and I had alot of fun playing through it. It is one of those games you can beat within a few hours. Not the greatest selection of loot, weapons and buffs though. It is good if you want to kill a few hours and have nothing else worth playing.
