Puzzle Light: Connect

Sometimes you just get a developer on your wavelength making games you love and at the ‘sweet’ spot of hardness/enjoyment. This for me wasn’t as hard as ‘slide’ and although not as challenging was just enough to keep it interesting but relaxing enough to know I’d get it in a couple of tries and just as enjoyable. Although neither slide or this developers games I felt was hair pulling, sometimes a level was quite hard but not too hard.
This game you always move the battery and it’s not a slide to obstacle move, you just move in single ‘squares’. This time it’s pure keyboard arrows/wasd no mouse movement. You become ‘sticky’ if you pass by another piece that could stick to you. So at the beginning if your battery is vertical, any open lines at the top or bottom of another square if you pass by will stick to the battery and so on until you get a big moving shape. You can put wrong tiles in wrong orders and the only way to get out of it is the undo button.
So you have to be careful what order you pick up which piece then make it back to the picture to finish the puzzle. The options are the same as the other games – limited undo (here it tells you there are 9 moves you can undo) R for reset, level map, window/fullscreen, sliders for sound and music.
Due to the type of game I noticed more the limited moves of the undo button. Pure enjoyable fun. No limited moves or anything timed, reaction needed or stars etc on any of this developers games. Just work the puzzle out and you’ll finish the game and get all achievements.

Puzzle game, logical, simple premise. Move the battery piece around to get lines to connect and the lamp(s) to light up. Only 1 movable piece (later on, 2 pieces), and if touch another piece in a connectable way, then those pieces will be connected for the rest of the level.
Quite good, but the puzzle mechanics are much more restricitive than the 'Puzzle Light: Slide' game from same devs which I've played previously. Therefore more punishing if you do one wrong move in there somewhere or just get off on the wrong track.
I liked 'Puzzle Light: Slide' a lot. But didn't like this 'Puzzle Light: Connect' nearly as much, for these reasons.
In this game the Undo limit of 9 moves will often not nearly be enough to avoid having to start over from scratch. This is especially annoying in the later levels where there are two distinct parts (2 batteries) - so even if you've solved the whole of the first part but get on the wrong track somewhere in 2nd half, the undo limit will likely not be enough and you have to start all over again with everything.
Pure logic, minimalist and pleasant graphics, music suits the game, ramps up from fairly simple to lots more complex. Saves level progress on exit. Basic settings, level select.

Fun little circuit builder game. Requires a bit of thought but not frustrating. Limited undo of 9 moves, which is better than nothing. No unfair achievements, nothing inconsistent, just good little puzzles.

A short but fun puzzle game. Unlike the original Puzzle Light, the solution is already given in Connect and you have to move the battery around the field, connecting with the cables to overlap with the actual given circuit. It seems simple, but strikes a good difficulty between easy and hard and is pretty fun! (and, imo, better than the original as it is more intuitive) If you like short and to-the-point puzzle games, I would recommend trying this one out-

This game isn't easy as I thought it would be, the puzzles were interesting and very challenging to solve. Great soundtrack as well, it's very calming and somehow helps you to focus better. The price is so cheap as well, definitely worth it! If there would be future releases of this game, I'd definitely buy it!

This is an interesting concept for a puzzle game. Connect all the pieces in the right order or get blocked in. Thank God for the guides because there is nothing like a good puzzle game to make me feel like a complete idiot.

Nice and simple. I wish there were more levels, since most were quite easy. Little over 1,5 hours of gameplay. Sometimes the rewind button breaks the game, but restarting the level fixes the problem.
