Planet Coaster ate my evening again.
Opened the game just to fix a path that looked wrong. Three hours later I'm changing the color of a bench because it doesn't fit the pirate area anymore.
Money gone, Park still half finished but that one coaster finally runs exactly the way I wanted.
Also moved a lamp a few pixels. Pretty sure nobody will notice.

i started my own small theme park company, 3 weeks later a roller coaster crashed and killed 14 people, i got sued and lost all of my money, i came home and bought the game planet coaster to relax. pretty good game.

Plays great on steamdeck graphics wise
The controls are hard to deal with i found it easiest to use the mouse for most of it
Besides that it runs fine
Its just a more detailed roller-coaster tycoon its a good play ive always loved these games

This is one of the best coaster games I've ever played. Very realistic looking and with a lot of easy customization. Had so much fun when it came out and always seem to come back to it. If you loved RCT you will love this!

A thousand hours in, multiple sandbox parks completed. I still don't feel ready for the challenges, but I'm having a great time planning, designing, building, and decorating. Personally, this game stretches my imagination and problem-solving skills. Sometimes it's a pain in the neck, but that's part of the challenge! It doesn't matter HOW you play, this game is, at it's core, a puzzle; it's up to the player to put it together in a way that benefits the management, the staff, and of course the guests. If you ever played through RTC to unlock sandbox mode, you're ready to take it up a notch here. Be warned, you'll lose hours immersed in getting a queue line just right, finding the right shrubs, fitting in one more coaster, lighting up a shop, bumping up the excitement of another ride, and of course taking a test ride with the first guest on your best coaster! The ONLY downside is that there's currently no computer that can handle the number of objects you eventually want, but it helps you learn to min-max your scenery, lighting, and decorating, so it's not really a bad thing, just another challenge. 10/10 recommend, especially as a purely creative outlet.
