Tactical survival board game, narrative driven sandbox with turn based combat. Tactics, strategy, and preparation decides the outcome of each turn. This game is a tutorial that doesn't start you off with everything, you have to progress into the story to unlock in game mechanics.
Unforgiving difficulty, Strategy, tactics, inventory management, and planning play major factors in game play and decide your fate every turn. The inevitable death and reroll await.
Light bugs with ending turns and combat that are easily fixed by saving and exiting the game.

Great concept but game still needs a lot of work. A lot of things feel very clunky such inventory being annoying to scroll through and manage. Ending turn also becomes a pain once you get multiple squads. It would be nice if there was a just a way to instantly end turn instead of needing to cycle through every squad to confirm. Sometimes one of my guys will die and there will be no indication and I only find out later that I am missing a guy, so it would be nice if there was some message or battle recap that tells you when someone dies.
BUGS- One time I tried to build something that required 250 build power while my squad had around 50, and it wouldn't progress no matter what so I had to restart game and split my squad. After splitting my squad, I noticed that some of my party members got duplicated along with some items. My total character count at the top didn't change so I was allowed to continue with about 15 characters when the limit was 12.

Honestly, there's something here concept-wise but it needs way more polish. Some things don't work well, the movement is too clunky. Turns is a terrible mechanic for general movement when exploring an empty map. I was starving my people within a day.
Give us the option to keep moving while time progresses, and pause when the movement ends. Something other than hitting space bar every 2 squares. Polish it. Let me know how it goes because I love this sort of game. I'd recommend this game so you can get more feedback.

The concept behind the story of this game is quite good. The presentation, style-wise is also very appealing to the eye, as are the overal controls and the UI, albeit there are some bugs that deter from the experience from time to time.
The game itself is fairly easy to learn, although not as easy to master. Some skills are required to master the management of the inventory, but I hope that this particular element of the game will undergo further polishing as its one of the elements that gets mentioned in other reviews on a regular basis. I mean, if you play the game you will see for yourself that getting used to the inventory in this game takes some time.
As far as bugs go, there are some game breaking things to be expected, although some seem to stem from the quirky game mechanics that appear as bugs but are just strange elements to the inner workings of the UI. It wouldn't be fair to dismiss the game just because the demo version is riddled with some issues, therefore I do not consider these bugs as I am making my assessment of the game.
As mentioned before, the game has this semi hand drawn, semi pixel shader art style. It kind of reminds one of the Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales game and it does look good and fits the theme of the game in a way, but I may be biased here as I prefer hand drawn art style over 3D textures. The sound work is pretty good and so are the spoken voices of the characters.
As far as the gameplay goes,I liked that you are not led by the hand and, like in a real apocalypse, you have to make decisions independently and often irreversibly: tasks are rather descriptions of the general situation, not mandatory orders, so the game flow is more organic and lets you explore more than follow the dots as in many other games. IT does feel a little bit like a mobile game though, but maybe due to how units move and the overal turn-based presentation of the game.
I am also intrugued by the PvE survival element of the game as well as the base building. I've not played the demo long enough yet to have formed an opinion, but so far this part of the game does not detract from the main story nor slow the pace down too much to be a problem. It looks as though there is a solid game there, once the Devs do release the final product. It might be a niche game, still, but it will have a fan base for sure.
Looking forward to the full game.

This prologue is more of a "demo" of Plague Lords. So expect this version to be a bit incomplete. I am sure the Dev will continue to work on improvement of this game. That said, this game does look promising.

Game is actually good, there is some small QoL things that they should change to make interface better and specially inventory management. But for start and demo its really good.

I like it. Its pretty hard but that means i won't get bored of it. i like managing the food and different resources and trying to balance that out with completing missions/quests
