Build and design your own fleets and stand opposed to the Particulate in this physics/strategy/RTS/fleet hybrid. Build partially destructible and self repairing ships that interact with enemies less controlled by some scripted logic and more driven by a real time massive physics particle simulation.
As Chief Executive Ticon you should have been the Galactic Executive Officer…. but you aren’t. Instead, you and small corporation of dedicated employees have ventured into Redacted Space risking your fortunes and your lives. What you find will challenge your tactical and strategic skills as you adapt to a threat that surrounds and engulfs. Engage the Particulate, Emergent, Doppels, and much more in this unique strategy game.

Amazing stuff, the DNA of Creeper World, except instead of a fluid simulator it runs on a particle engine.
The main campaign is short, some 6-10 hours to complete, but the additional content (and player-designed missions) more than double the playtime while still introducing new fun mechanics that require strategy alterations.
If you're new to the series, I'd still recommend that you play Creeper World 3 first, because it offers the more complete experience, and greater variety of challenge types. And if you're familiar with Creeper World and enjoyed it, you'll definitely enjoy Particle Feet too.
Comparing difficulties, I found Particle Fleet a bit easier than CW games, mostly because forming a stable frontier is not challenging. I also wish more levels used scripted events to hamper my progress. Otherwise, Particle Fleet matches CW3's quality on all fronts.

Pretty interesting spin off on the CW series. It less base building and more of an army building. Your army isnt as expendable compared to the previous games. You're limited to 25 ships, but with the ship editor you can create the perfect ship and just spam that into your fleet inventory. I enjoyed the story, a bit short, but still enjoyed it. The MUSIC is incredible, absolute fire OST.

When I first started playing this game and running through the campaign, I would have given it about a 6/10. Now that I have played a lot of custom maps, I'll give it a 9.5/10. Great game. 100% recommend for people that like strategy games.

Many people I've seen compare this to the Creeperworld series (Its set it the same world and by the same developers so is see why). I haven't played the other games from this developer (yet) so my opinion is very much comparing this game to other space strategy games I've played.
This game is simplistic to say the least, the particulate doesn't adapt too much to your strategies or even throughout an individual battle. It does change and add more features as you venture further into the story. However, the changes won't do much other than maybe changing how some of your ships are positioned at the edge of your formation.
However, I think that the simplicity of this game is probably why I will forever keep coming back, even if its only for a few hours in as many months. This game is simple enough that I can play it and not be overwhelmed with the micro and constant focus required by other fleet games I play and... I think thats good, I like these more complex games more generally and will absolutely put more hours into them. But, when I don't feel like doing too much, I'll boot up this game, vibe to the excellent soundtrack and destroy some particulate.
Moving past the simplicity this game can make you feel like Ender as your fleets push up at once to exploit a hole you made in the particulate horde. Using 2 tankers to constantly keep your ships fuelled are firing as you try to extend your line longer than you should. Bringing only a couple ships and creeping closer with lathes in the hope that you can sneak close enough to destroy it without losing the ships. How specialised most of the ships are makes it twice as satisfying to try something with just a few ships that maybe aren't the best but are just god enough in this situation to make a major difference. You feel this most with Lathes (the ships you use to destroy emitters and stop them constantly spewing out particulate) since they are lightly armed and armoured and you cannot win without them. However, other ships like the Hammer, Tanker, and Grabber are all examples of extremely specialised ships that fill their role perfectly and make using them correctly makes you feel like great admiral.
Solid 7/10. Simple but fun + killer soundtrack

When I first saw this game in my library I thought "Well, this isn't gonna last long but lets at least give it a try…" - I couldn't have been more wrong: ~14 hours later I finished the story-mode and had a short look at the community-made maps (which in some cases are quite weird)…
In some points the story mode causes some saltiness as of a certain mechanic (I'm not gonna spoil here - you will see what I'm talking about) but it has some interesting challenges to overcome and to plan around. For playing on-stream it got a lot (a LOT!) of text but reading the text will help to understand the story so don't skip it…

One of my favorite games that I spent half my summer playing)
