From beautiful cityscapes and ocean roads to exploding enemy spaceships, Neon Drive has it all. It's inspired by the arcade games of the 80's, but set against a futuristic backdrop of glowing cyber-grid, all in silky-smooth graphics. Neon Drive brings you 8 amazing levels, adding up to hours of enjoyment. Each level features multiple twists and perspective changes, keeping you on your toes (err, wheels) throughout the gameplay. Neon Drive will put your mad dodging skills to a real test, mercilessly pushing the limits of your reaction time and short-term memory to avoid obstacles and dead-ends. Seriously, this game is wicked just when you think you've got the hang of it, it turns the table on you.

This game is really just a lot of fun the way that the difficulty scales is a nice touch and the soundtrack is very enjoyable.

Most of these vapourwave/synth games are just trading card/profile item fodder for asthetic profiles. This is an actual game, and it's pretty good. The soundtrack is original and very pleasant, levels are tough but fair, and the presentation is smooth. Level 2 especially impressed me. Overall, decent game.

Unfortunately the levels don't get more challenging or fun as you progress, since you can play them in any order. Though the core gameplay is very fun, some of the variations that the devs tried really bog the game down. There's the high points like the flying level in which the obstacles are in a circle around you rather than in four lanes, and then there are the space shooting sections which feel like an aborted version of someone's high school coding class final project.
