Nature Treks: Together
Nature Treks: Together is a place just for you or a place to connect with others using a combination of shape, color, and sound. Intuitively transition deeper to rediscover the benefits of expression, the value of emotion, and escape into a powerful sensory experience.
A multiplayer or single player experience
Immerse yourself into a world of peace, calm, and relaxation. Explore beautiful and detailed environments, alive with the relaxing sounds of nature. Re-energize yourself on untouched beaches or seamlessly dive into the cool clear waters. Join up to 16 people or relax and explore on your own.
Painting instruments
Activating “thought mode” will give you access to a ‘paint palette’. Using your index finger you are free to draw anything you imagine. Each line you draw also becomes a unique instrument based on the line color, width, and length of each stroke.
The creator and emotion halos
Summon the creator halo to create and shape your environment. Throw the creator orbs to grow trees, bushes, flowers, and rocks. Alternatively switch to the emotion halo and express yourself using the emotion orbs. Envelop yourself and others in warm auras of joyful color, manifest your own personal rain cloud, or create awe-inspiring galaxies.
Fire side chat
Nature Treks: Together is a place where users can rediscover the fundamentals of communication. Proximity-based voice chat is enabled around campfires. Gather and add wood to the fire, the bigger the fire the greater the distance voice chat is active.

Really cool, loved the first one so I got this one.
I would really really like to see private lobbies and some kind of invite/friends only feature instead of the public islands only.
(Maybe a what kind of island do you want and privacy settings).
Overall glad to see this game get a sequel.

I have been waiting for something this good for five years. One of the most obvious 'games' for VR is something which lets you relax on your own private beach, with water gently lapping onto beautiful white sand - THIS IS IT.
Of course there are quite a few similar games but in every one I've tried, something lets it down. Either the water looks bad or the trees are moving all jerky or you're stuck at one time of day, but this is almost perfect. Water looks lovely and translucent, the foliage moves convincingly and there is a nice gentle soundtrack if you want it.
There are extra features such as being able to grow things and emit emotions but I wasn't all that interested in this, I just wanted to find my own little private beach and relax and I did WITH A CAMPFIRE!
Honestly I love it. There is only one minor thing I would ask for if possible. I have a RIFT S which everyone knows has a slightly more washed out display than the original RIFT . I would LOVE to be able to turn the brightness down slightly and the contrast up to compensate. During daylight hours in the game the sky and sea look slightly washed out and I'd love to see them in deeper colours.
So if the developers could see their way to putting a small box allowing changes in brightness, colour and saturation I would be very grateful. I don't know how awkward this is but it would really help.
Either way 5 STARS ALL THE WAY. THANKS GUYS!!!

This is one of the best VR nature walking simulators / relaxation apps / tourist destination apps in VR. However, it is a bit on the pricey side for what is currently there (in Early Access). Although at the current Steam sale price of 30% off, which I purchased at, I do think it's a nice deal given the high quality of the content. There are basically currently 2 different environments:an island map (small, medium, or large configuration) and a winter forest map. You can join up to 16 people online in the large island (4 on the small island) and you can voice chat by the campfire if you are so inclined.
There are several things that make this a unique experience for VR. The first is just that it's made with a focus on multiplayer online. Don't worry, if you're anti-social like me, there's nobody really online ever & even if there was somebody online, you don't have to interact or talk if you don't want. Another thing is just how beautiful the island looks and how vibrant it is with life. You can see insects or birds flying by, or leaves falling to the ground, or fish swimming in the water. The sunsets & sunrises are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen in VR. The sea floor looks fantastic as well.
Keep in mind, there's only a few, very limited interactions. You can paint in the air and you can touch the drawn lines and it'll make some music. You can also grow like rocks, or trees, or shrubs. You can also create some nice effects in the sky like a mini rain cloud. You can pick up rocks or sticks and throw them.
Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting a steady 90 fps for the most part on the highest graphical settings. You do have full locomotion and smooth and snap turning available, along with teleportation. I did not experience any serious issues or bugs. I did notice some graphical glitches like vegetation swaying in the wind not looking correct or some issues with the shadows. There was very slight pop-in and maybe some issue with the draw distance with objects being blurry for a half second at a distance.
Overall, I would say this experience competes with the best VR nature walking simulators. It is right up there with Matt Newell's VR creations (Caves Rd Inc.) It is in Early Access and the devs do promise more content. If that gets added then the current sale price would be an absolute steal. I would request that the devs add a torch for night, maybe a starrier sky or a way to control the weather or change the pace of the day / night cycle. Lastly, instead of having the island connected by like a small piece of island sticking out ... I would love to see the addition of canoes where you row to each of the islands. Also more privacy options. Maybe a way to watch YT videos.
Rate 7/10.

It was great and beautiful! A great place to take a break from the hustle and bustle, admire the sunsets and sunrises, sit by the fire! The music is great! I would like to see in the future
- Perhaps a small backpack where you can collect your favorite stones, shells, etc.
-Launch of paper planes and boats.
-Possibly some badges that are given for achievements. Or medals that I can give to other people forever.
- More animals, birds, turtles, etc.
-I would like to be able to go to your island, change everything for yourself and save without internet. And then invite friends to your place when you are online.
-Ability to light fires wherever I want.
-And so that players have a portable cassette player where they can listen to their own music or add music from online radio.

It was very nice to meet the devs on a server :) They are working hard to make this game great.

Relaxing VR nature simulation similar to Matt Newell's works. At current stage of EA it lacks content, but the quality is quite high. Beware though, it is very GPU heavy.
There are only 2 environments for now: Islands that mix tropical and continental biomes and winter glade. Both are quite beautiful, with highly detailed textures, dynamic clouds and day/night cycle (although for winter it is incomplete - night looks just like darker day). Watching sunsets, sunrises and Northern Lights in VR really helped me relax after last two very stressful weeks at work.
There is a highly advertised multiplayer feature, but the player base is non existent. I've only met one person in about 3 hours, and it has not added much to my experience.
Performance is not great even on GPU above recommended levels: I had about 50-60 average FPS on 6800 XT. It was just enough for the slow paced watching experience to not feel janky.

First impressions - it looks stunning, really beautiful, loads of close up detail to look at. Only slight gripe so far is the sound. It needs a little more dynamic sound rather than pre-recorded. For instance, when the wind blows, would be good to hear that rustling the branches as it blows. Wave sounds as each wave hits the beach etc. Sound transitions from one area to another are a little harsh. Really looking forward to seeing how this develops, I was a big fan of the original.
