There is no better MK than MKX. Period. Next two installments are just forced to be made by higher instances in WB Games. Poor Ed Boon that has to do what they say, when they say and how they say.

Man... THE Best Mortal Kombat. Great Button layout. Great Graphics.. Highly recommend playing with friends, cant find that many online matches sadly.

My favorite Mortal Kombat!
I was disapointed at launch because I didn't care for the new characters, but over the years, comparing the gameplay to other MK games I've come to the conclusion that this is the best MK ever.

Best Mortal Kombat of all time in my honest opinion. No hate to the New Mortal Kombat games but this one was the one that lived up to the hype. Still has a community to this day after more than a decade. The run mechanic, the mind games, the combos, etc. I can go on and on but we'd be here all day.
