Is it a good game if you feel refreshed after completing it? In this case, yes of course it doe, for me at least and this is just only the prologue.
If you're playing Monster Stalker expect plenty of interesting monster design, not too gory and fleshy, just the perfect balance for my personal taste. Like a half-woman half robotic prosthetic lady with no limbs or a monster with a mouth been half its body. All enemies have their unique play pattern, like one who just armours up and disrupts your draws with bombs to take damage from and limits the cards you could play in a turn.
Despite my positive comment, this game is still rough in the early stage of development which could all be fixed with more audio and animations, polished UI and more choices to be able to customize your deck. And lastly, for the battle to not end so abruptly, all of those quality-of-life improvements would take time meaning this game has a long way to go, but the potential is there and this was a fun prologue, even if we don't get anything out of it.
I could had skip reviewing Monster Stalker, but I wanted to give my thoughts out there and show my support for this game by recommending it to let everyone else know this is worth a shot.

So far this prologue showcases an Interesting card game. Pretty good aesthetic and cool music.
There is not much deck-building at the moment, however this is just an introduction to the game.
In the beginning is quite simple with not many choices, but as you progress it feels like there is a little bit more choice involved in terms of how to play.
The campaign/story and overall atmosphere of the game seems that is has something going for it and kept me interested throughout the demo.
It could use a little bit of fine tuning and polishing but even as is it's already better than other already released games of this type.
Looking forward to see where this one goes!
