Action, upgrades, and one cool cat wizard. Travel the galaxy as a mercenary with a fluffy dragon alongside a cast of endearing characters.
This game is a 2d action platformer with a retro-SNES vibe about it. Alongside the mechanics is a cast of characters that I really want to stand out – from a talking cat wizard to a skeleton in a kimono, you’ll meet interesting tropes of NPCs, who then shortly begin to surprise and grow on you – just like real people do! This is a huge focus for us – a cast to remember.
So, in short –
- Tight controls and movement
- Great characters to love (or hate!)
- A fluffy dragon. It’s very fluffy.

Did you ever want to experience something like Steven Universe, but with cute fluffy dragons?
Well, now you can. This is a fun, 3 hour wholesome adventure that felt like episodes of that show.
The Good
+ Gorgeous sprite work
+ Many, many CGs for nearly every event
+ Fluid animations, jumping was my favourite!
+ Not very difficult, accessible to players of all skill levels
+ Incredibly wholesome
+ A variety of dragons
+ Collectables are easy to find and not super hidden (Thank you for this!)
+ Collectables give a bit of character development and references to other media
+ Over a decade of love poured into it?!
The bad
- Dashing is on the right face button instead of the left bumper, but you can use Steam's controller rebind to change it around. No way to rebind keys in-game...
- Some minor bugs, like having two of the same character appear on screen at the same time or rarely hovering in mid-air when messing around
Wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who's having a rough time. Hope is all we have.

A fun and casual side scrolling platformer with cute story and a cast of crazy characters. A good story of friendship and overcoming. Plus has a super cute Dragon who is adorable and really loves carrots. Really, you must give Alma all the pets. Pet the Alma please, it is important.

I've really enjoyed following this game through its early access and it's so cool to see it finally released! It's a short but very sweet game. I love the characters, the writing, the world. Would totally recommend!
My favorite level is the cave where you meet the jellycats

A nice little short game!
I bought this during early access simple because it looked interesting and promised a "fluffy" dragon.
And I'm happy to say, it delivered.
The game mostly focuses on characters and dialog, with the action being more used as short intermissions that give a reason for more dialog.
Pretty much all of the characters are the friendly/funny type, with a lot of positive communal support messaging. This resulted for me in a very wholesome and light-hearted experience.
The character and pixel art also really fits with the sci-fi + fantasy style and looks great.
The jump-'n'-run sections are still somewhat rough to play, as the player-character tends to get stuck near walls and is just in general a bit stiff to control. Nothing really bad, just not very smooth.
However, the music throughout the game is really good tho!
Also, after playing through it again, I noticed the game was surprisingly fun to speedrun.
The dialog-skip feature is well implemented and allows for quick progress through the more dialog heavy sections.
But the flow of movement in the jump-ānā-run sections will be pushed to it's limit quite easily. There the gameplay can still be some what ruff and you will have to work around certain inconveniences like getting stuck near a wall.
Then again, the game was most likely not designed with speedrunning in mind, and as such I wont hold this against the developer.
All in all,
I really like the game and recommend it!
It's always inspiring to see someone make something like this and I hope the developer is rightfully proud with what they made here.
I'm glad I gave the game a chance and thanks to the developer for making this!
PS:
"Schloorp" is an amazing name for a plushie!

A nice adventure. The platforming parts are probably too short and easy, but the narrative part is very good, with funny characters, emotional scenes and lots of awesome pixel art illustrations.

Wasn't sure what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised! I really enjoyed the action platforming through and through. But what I'm still left thinking about are the colorful cast of characters you get to meet. Truly a delightful experience!

I adore this game! Loved playing it all through early access, the characters are so loveable and you WILL get attached to them. Dialogue feels natural, gameplay is smooth and satisfying, and the story is truly addictive. BEAUTIFUL hand-made art and assets, you can really tell that this is a project that came from the heart. Can't wait to play ALL the way through it, now that it's fully released! Add this indie gem to your Steam library now! :)
