Recommendable with the Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite & Beyond mod, released late 2024. The MCU is offensively shoehorned into the game, but MVCIB represents a redemption for the title. Great work by Max and the Team to revamp the series' most soulless iteration.

MvCI is NOT as great of a game as it SHOULD be, but it's NOT a bad game. It's a good game, especially if you're willing to mod it. There's a wonderful one called MvC Infinite & Beyond.

With MVCIB this is possibly the best Marvel Vs Capcom game of all time. You can see the potential and what they wanted to do with this game and you will get the games full potential with getting the Beyond mod.

I’m very disappointed in myself for allowing initial reviews turn me away from purchasing this game. I ended up picking it up in December for dirt cheap when the infinite and beyond mod came out. Although I enjoyed the mod on steam deck, it ran pretty poorly, and my OCD hated that the in game visuals didn’t match the cutscenes. Today I deleted the mod and started playing story mode and I’m having a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend it!
