Lust Theory – Season 1

The gameplay is quite entertaining, there're also features like hiding the whole UI or rolling back, which is cool. The game isn't short (considering the genre), there're numerous paths the MC can take which leads to learning much more of the story and unlocking new scenes (which aren't half bad). The game really keeps you engaged by telling something new about the characters and encourages you to experiment with the choices you can make. The whole idea with the Groundhog day fits just perfectly. The only thing missing, as I see it, is gallery. I don't know what's with other languages, but English translation here is good (unlike a lot of other short games in this genre). This game is definitely one of those that's worth playing in this genre, especially considering a whole lot of uninteresting same stuff with the same scenes but just different models and where you only have two paths (tops).
Some other long games worth trying out: S2 of this one and Unreal Lust one, The Seven Realms (High Lathión), Forbidden Fantasy, The Lust City (1 and 2), Helping the Hotties, Between Two Worlds.

Now I know why this game is one of the top best selling adult games out there, not only it is from one of my most favorite developers Inceton Games but also has a genius idea behind the plot centering around reliving the same day in different ways and using the knowledge gained from previous failures to make better decisions the next day when everything resets. When applied to an adult only setting the experience just becomes amazing and I came to enjoy making decisions without consequences and resetting the day just to try another way.
The good news is that the game features a hint system that guides you throughout the story so as to make going through each run of the day easier and without getting stuck. Turning the MC's life into a rouge-like is just a great gameplay mechanic and one that I truly enjoyed from start to finish. I will not spoil the ending but things will not remain the same in the end!
I have always liked voiced AVN's more and the voice acting in this game is topnotch and the AI narration is also quite well done. Graphics, character models, and the background music are also quite good.
The only issues with the game are lack of collectibles and that the genitalia and proportions of the female characters are sometimes a bit too similar, but that does not make this AVN nothing short of a must play and jump to the next season immediately to play some more!

Characters design and graphic quality - amazing.
Characters voice delivery - cherry on top and that is what makes this game better than many other VN on market, which lack this moment.
Sex-scenes and animations is probably the strongest side of this game. A lot of good various scenes and some very interesting moments which attached in terms of story. For example in one scene where you have to deal with a character who is a virgin, so she ask you to use her "backdoor" entrance instead to preserve her virtue. Unexpected and very pleasant kinky scene.
A few downsides is that game relatively short and overall story is very corny and cheap, but that is compensated by "groundhog day" idea which makes all that nonsense somewhat believable. Overall game was good and worth to play it.

Overall... I liked this game, the characters are interesting enough, there were a few surprise turns and the graphics are pretty solid for CG sex. It ran fine on my laptop with no crashes. The interface is a little clunky but not hard to get the hang of.
Visuals: Our protagonist is super well-hung and the girls are all very attractive for cg characters. I wish there was a little more natural variation in shapes and sizes and assets, etc. but I am not complaining, they all are hotties and there is at least some variance. The sex scenes are explicit and at times very realistic looking esp. for level of cg realism the game achieves. Its not photo-realistic but it looks pretty good most of the time. Sometimes things are bit wooden other times the physics and motion are dead on. I appreciated that I really never really saw any clipping or graphic anomalies that took me out of the moment.
Content: I found the incest angle a little off-putting. They kind of give a band-aid fix to avoid it narratively by allowing you to define the relationships at the beginning and it never overtly says anything but its pretty clear that it is part of the "naughtiness". So if you find age discrepancy, power dynamics or incestuous behavior off-putting be warned. If you find it sexy, this will work for you. There are other dicey scenarios as well that might put of a modern audience - think 80's sex comedy things. I think a key thing to accept to enjoy this is to remember the story mechanic is set-up to basically establish what one might do if you knew with certainty there were not any negative consequences for anyone involved.
And you do play a real horn dog, with questionable ethics. There are intimations of actually caring adult sexual relationships but its mostly about the plentiful sex. This guy would be right at home in Porkys or Revenge of the Nerds. And in the end... I didn't like my character much. It didn't ruin the story but don't expect a lot of depth or growth in Season 1. I think the story could have really gotten great had there been a little growth shown... its possible that will come in future seasons. I enjoyed it well enough to be curious what happens.
Game Mechanics: The game is very forgiving in most aspects. You can rewind to certain extent and try other decisions and outcomes in the moment... not all the back but pretty far back. That is appreciated. BUT be sure to save at decision points but getting all the missions complete is not really doable in a single organically played play through. If you guide carefully off the hints that are given I am told you can do it in a single play through - I missed 3 missions on mine and to be honest I wasn't interested in trying it again to get 100%. I would have liked it to be set-up where your re-live function lets you capture those missions - as it is you probably have to find a walkthrough online, use the hints, and save at each branch point. There are also 8 "hidden missions" you get as well which can be triggered in game or by using hidden triggers. You get a detailed enough guide in game which I also appreciated. Having either way to see those events is a great idea. Don't miss those.
Additional content: The Christmas add-on was very straightforward and more of a straight forward visual novel as opposed to the lite branching in the regular season. It also leaves out the incestuous elements entirely. I really enjoyed that because it gave the opportunity to not have that idea looming in the back of mind. They again missed the opportunity to really develop the girls and Its not the best story. In fact, its pretty silly but if you just wanted the sexy times its loaded with those and its really kind of fun. Am I the only one who missed Nadia in this add-on?
Final Thoughts: This not high art, or even straight-up realistic erotica but it is pretty well executed and played like a B-rated 80's sex comedy only much more explicit. And really, that's all I was looking for. You could do far worse the taking this one for a spin. If you are sensitive to certain things I discussed above, maybe skip it but otherwise, its a solid, if superficial romp.

I was skeptical, but this actually was entertaining, very! I usually don't go for this type of game but the story had a lot of surprisingly entertaining plot twists. I might actually grab act 2!

As someone who enjoys adult‑themed visual novels, I found Season 1 enjoyable even though it’s lighter on explicit scenes. The game includes a red‑dot toggle during certain conversations that lets you switch the character artwork to lingerie or nude versions, which adds fanservice without going fully explicit.
If you’re specifically looking for a season with more explicit content, then Season 1 of Lust Theory might feel a bit limited. In that case, I wouldn’t recommend starting with this season. However, if you enjoy character‑focused storytelling with a lighter amount of adult content, Season 1 can still be a good introduction to the series.

Given that this game was the first adult game I ever played I have a soft spot for this game. is it perfect? No but the story and scenes were enjoyable and that was enough for me. I give it a 8 out of 10 and would recommend to anyone looking for a adult game with a story. I will buy from Inceton again
