If you are looking for a really easy MMORPG than this is my pick for you. I used to play this game when I was a little younger. There's 4 different classes. Knight, Spearman, Archer and Sorcerer (mage). The maps are rather small but theres a couple of different places to go to. Reaching lv.40/50 is easily done. I think the max level is 160. Highest when I wrote this is 154 or 155.
Positive:
- Easy to learn to play
- Easy to understand the basics of the game
- Friendly community
- Fun to play with friends
- Items/gears are easy to find or to make, might take a little while though
Negative:
- There's hackers (and people say GM's are slow to respond to this)
- Not a lot of quests
- Small maps
- Only a small community of people playing
- No interesting quests
- You can buy a vip3 account which will allow you to find better gears eventually (pay to win?)

This game is just like the original LoA. Basically the same community too. I LOVE IT. Not that pay to win either. Paying only let's you level faster, you still have to grind. The rosetta stone of MMO. It has it all, grinds, pvp, group raids, group pvp, and MASSIVE LOOT.

This one feel like really retro MMORPG game and it's a good thing. For the few hours I have spend playing it, I had fun. There are some things that could be better:
1. Lack of support
After the first day of playing my character disappeared. I have tried to contact somebody on Steam forums but, sadly, there is no one from the RedFox Games visiting forums or helping. I had to start again...
2. Bugs
The best, or at least it's what I heard, skill path on my Mage bugged and I wasn't able to use those skills at all - it was telling me I need level 10 to use it, but I was already using it and I was higher level than 10... Of course, 0 help on the forums.
3. Low number of players
I probably met only few players on fields. Sure, there are more of them in city, but most of them are only shops by higher lvl players. If you think you could find somebody to play together... you gonna have a bad time.
Still, it's much more enjoyable than your average WoW-clones. Legend of Ares is free to play game, so the best you can do is try it out yourself. I might be not playing it for now but who knows, maybe some day I will revisit it and enjoy it one more time...

Are you ready to return home and battle for your nation?
Lots of us in the community have been working hard over the last year to build us the LOA we deserve. We’ve got most of the game back fully functioning. We’ve got custom, never before seen items that will be introduced. New boss mechanics. And most of all, lots and lots of PVP!
Our final beta starts March 26th and will last only ONE month. There will be a last wipe following this final beta and an official no-wipe launch targeting May 5th.

There is a server out there for this game thats currently in beta testing. Its being run not by a company, but by the LoA community looking for nostalgia. Look Up Nostalgia on discord
