I played this game when I have suicidal thoughts. Then, nameless griefer joined my game and told me to kill myself. That ♥♥♥♥♥♥ made me thinking "I will not kill myself to prove him". An absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hero, thank you for your kindness you lil ♥♥♥♥.

Don't let the low hours fool you. Played this a lot on my Xbox 360. Plus I replayed the whole campaign through L4D2. One of the best zombie games ever made. Also one of the best co-op games ever too. Whenever this goes on sale, definitely pick it up for sure.

So, this game is from 2008. How good does it hold up?
The game's graphics look a bit dated. But hey, it's a 2008 game.
The story is pretty good.
The co-op is incredible. You can literally find 1 server within seconds. It's also pretty fun. And hey, you can also play with bots, which are smart too.
The physics are *insert chef's kiss*. Some games don't even have physics now, like BO7 and yet a 2008 GAME HAS PHYSICS OF ZOMBIES, which you can make HEADLESS, LEGLESS, OR ARMLESS.

A classic and a goody. No huge reason to get it since most of the campaigns are carried over in L4D2, but it's got a slightly different vibe and different (smaller) loot and enemy pool, which is sometimes welcome.
