This is an adorable little game that is exactly what low cost games on Steam shall be. Small and simple but made with love and well polished.
Playing Koi is being a pleasant relaxing experience, the sound of the water drops is incredibly relaxing too. Visuals are simple but clean and nice and work very well.
I found some of the memory sequences pretty hard to remember, but overall the gameplay is smooth, intuitive and plesant. Might not end up being a GOTY, but I think it's worth buying for its quality, and to encourage small quality games on steam. Maybe by buying this, you will contribute to valorize small but well made stuff in contrast with the flood of asset flips that fill up the 1$ category.
Keep it up devs, well done!

My gaming instincts knew right away when I found this game this morning on Steam that it was well worth the super small asking price.. and my instincts were confirmed once I played it!
Watch my "First Play on Launch Day" video for this game right HERE:
This game offers outstanding music, mesmerizing graphics and colorful effects as well as super simple and smooth controls that all added up to a whopping 98% score from me! Well worth your money and time, this game oozes both heart and quality at a super low price tag!
..I can't recommend this game enough! Love it, Love it, Love it!

Despite its minimalist approach to story-telling, Koi manages to be quite an emotionally loaded game. It's fairly short - about 2 hours for a single play-through, maybe 4 hours if you want all the collectables (and 25+ for all achievements, due to one that basically amounts to idling in-game for 24 hours) - but well worth the price. The only section I didn't like was some memory puzzles in the third level, but the rest was all very good. A surprise for sure, and one I would recommend completely.

If you’re looking for a game to pop open every once in a while to kill some time and chill, Koi is for you. It’s not a huge game, you could beat it in an hour if you wanted but Koi is a nice little relaxing game. The game also has a fair amount of collectibles. While casually playing through it, I did not get a fair amount of them so there’s some replayability there. The story is very minimal but it does lend itself well to being a positive experience.
For $1 I feel this game is worth it.

A fantastic game indeed. It has nice little quests and great soothing soundtracks.
The controls are smooth and simplistic, and the atmosphere is pretty pleasing.
The gameplay gets more and more immersive as well.
A 10/10 from me.
Definitely worth the little the creator asks for!
