This demo contains only the first dungeon. Join brave sir Lootalot on his epic quest in this little Zelda-lite adventure. Explore and fight your way through the dangerous dungeons filled with traps, puzzles and magical artifacts. And, of course, show the evil bosses who is the real boss here. Knightin'+ is a classic adventure game made by one person (yep, it's me) inspired by the amazing masterpieces from 90s. So what can you expect from this game? Let's sum up: Classic adventure gameplay (i.e. explore the dungeon, fight monsters, solve puzzles, collect loot, unlock new abilities, proceed to the next dungeon). Tongue-in-cheek story (that shouldn't be taken seriously by any means). Stylish pixel art graphics. Catchy soundtrack. Full controller support.

This was a really fun, cute, challenging little dungeon crawler with some tough but simple puzzles and middlin' challenges... until the final boss becomes a bullet hell that highlights all of the minor flaws in the game's design that didn't seem to add up to much through the rest of the experience.

Knightin’ + is just such a refreshing modern indie of a classic. It is reminiscent of classic Zelda games; in that you must solve puzzles in order to progress through the dungeons; you also may need to solve some puzzles for finding keys, hidden items, to avoid a trap, and to. The visuals and mechanics are very simplistic and cute—just your typical vibrant and clean 8-bit graphics with simple controls. I highly recommend this game; it’s great for those dungeon crawler lovers who grew up playing Zelda games.
Very aesthetically pleasing 8-bit visuals; vibrant and clean
Great soundtrack and sound effects
Hits some *heavy* old school Zelda notes in all the best ways
There doesn’t appear to be much of a story
Can get a bit dull if you are playing it too much and too long (better to pace yourself)

Players take on the role of Sir Lootalot in this retro ‘Zelda-lite‘ adventure game and battle their way through dangerous dungeons made up of beautiful pixel art. The electronic music is also varied and makes great background noise for the game type and is befitting of the different dungeons that are available to explore.
The game starts off with a slower pace and eases the player into the experience with a nice difficulty curve. It also boasts precise and responsive controls and versatile combat mechanics that make Knightin’+ a pleasure to play. There are also traps, puzzles and enemies to overcome whilst collecting loot and gaining new abilities in this classic dungeon crawling adventure! The puzzles can be a little tricky at times, and there are some difficult enemies and boss fights that will prove challenging.
Loot and abilities are gained in a variety of ways, players can spend coins dropped by enemies with vendors that are dotted throughout the dungeons or solve puzzles and find keys to open chests of loot. Some items can provide upgrades or new skills such as a ring that grants the ability to dash.
Kinghtin+ is a relatively short game and can be completed in 3-4 hours but it has plenty to offer, provides a satisfying level of challenge and is a lot of fun. This welcome addition to the Ukrainian Indie Games Bundle is very easy to recommend.
