Kika & Daigo: A Curious Tale
*THIS GAME REQUIRES AT LEAST ONE CONTROLLER*
Kika & Daigo: A Curious Tale is a local split-screen co-op game where a girl and her fluffy corgi go on an adventure to find her lost grandpa. In order to find her grandpa, Kika has to look for clues that grandpa left behind. In this game, one player plays as the girl and the other as the corgi. In this adventure, you will find many obstacles and different level settings in order to unite yourself with grandpa again.
To solve the mystery, teamwork is essential. Kika & Daigo: A Curious Tale focuses on teamwork in order for the players to progress through the levels. Both players have different abilities that will help to solve the mystery.Kika
- Use her umbrella as a trampoline in order to help Daigo reach new heights
- Turn & twist in order to get the right combinations
- Wanna climb ladders? We got them!
Daigo
- Pee & poop on everything. EVERYTHING
- Give items to Kika to help you out!
- Use the dog treats to go faster than ever before
Please note: there is no "single player" version of this game, Kika & Daigo: A Curious Tale is specifically designed to be played by two players locally.

A cute but extremely short and at times frustrating adventure puzzle game.
So after initially attempting to play this with a friend using Remote Play Together and getting absolutely nowhere, we gave up and I ended up playing this with my girlfriend using 360 and PS4 controllers respectively.
While the game is extremely short, it was quite fun from the puzzle aspect of things. However the camera is atrocious, this is my main gripe, as well as being an overall glitchy mess. The music can get annoying too with it being a never ending loop. Aside from these minor frustrations though, we had fun playing for the short amount of time that the game lasts and all achievements triggered without any issue.
With that being said, I'll happily give this a positive rating. Especially considering it's Free to Play.

A cute, little game for two players, but I played it alone, keyboard and controller simultaneously.
You play Kika (player 1), the granddaughter of a private detective and she has clearly inherited his passion for solving mysteries.
Together with her corgi Daigo (player 2) she tries to find her grandfather back.
The 3D models are simple yet cute (the fork-lift truck <3), same for the cutscenes. There are some surprisingly witty interactions with the world.
Hopefully they will add more levels and make the camera a bit smoother, but apart from that it's fun to play for an hour with a friend or alone (you don't have to move both Kika and Corgi at the same time, with a few doable exceptions). Achievements can be obtained within one playthrough. Congratulations on releasing this game, BFCS!

I played this with my brother, after initial confusion because I forgot to configure the controls before playing. We laughed a lot.
Pros:
- Pee was a viable mechanic.
- Daigo can poop off ledges, though poop has yet to be a viable mechanic.
- I can troll my fellow player.
- Wholesome content.
- Teamwork mechanic is smooth.
- Puzzles are clear.
- Chill music.
Cons:
- Daigo can't pee all his problems away.
- Camera too close to Daigo's butt.
- Some things are hard to see due to camera angles.
8/10.
