Kellogg’s Gut Bacteria Reef
The Kellogg’s Gut Bacteria Reef is an interactive VR experience designed to teach people about gut health.
In a world first, we’ve made the invisible visible. Now you can get up close to the organisms and diverse flora that live inside the gut, and learn about the importance of fibre in maintaining this thriving ecosystem.
Just like any healthy ecosystem, a rise in the dominance of one or more species can upset the balance and affect its overall health. To educate people on the importance of this, Kellogg’s created an immersive and educational VR experience called the Gut Bacteria Reef. Where viewers can travel into the gut in a virtual submarine to uncover the inner workings of the gut ecosystem for the very first time.
Let your gut dive instructor take you on an exciting journey inside the human gut, where you can learn all about the types of food and fibre that help healthy gut flora grow.Single PlayerShrink down as you work your way through the hidden world of your gut ecosystem. You will need to pay attention to the schools of bacteria species that swim past if you want to sustain the Gut Bacteria Reef.Diverse EcosystemExplore the living organisms that occupy the Gut Bacteria Reef (and your gut). A rise in the dominance of one or more species can upset the balance in either ecosystem and affect its overall health.Fibre FeederFibre helps the good bacteria to grow and thrive. Select the right mix of foods and fibre to load the fibre feeder, helping good bacteria multiply and overwhelm the bad bacteria.

Regardless of whether you play this seated or standing, you'll be pooped by the end.

Thank you Kellogg's for allowing me to observe the beauty of going deep inside someone's guts.
Also for those curious (spoiler alert): Yes you do in fact get pooped out at lightspeed velocity to wrap up the short experience. For those of you worried that might not happen, fear not. Kellogg's got you covered.
9.3 out of 10. Still better than Cyberpunk.

OK, so ‘Kellogg’s Gut Bacteria Reef’ is and was always going to be little more than an advert for Kellogg’s breakfast cereal, but at least they have put some effort into it. Lasting about 5 minutes in total this interactive experience sees you helping the stomach make friendly bacteria and that is about it. It’s slightly educational, slight fun and it looks good from start to finish. Even the narrator’s voice is soft and clear. For the little ones, this will be very interesting, but its short timing will put many adults off giving it a go. It’s free and to be fair it could have been so much worse.

Short Free experience that is more of an Ad than a educational tool
Aside from that, its pretty "Ok".
You start inside a submarine (play sitting down recommended), then its 3 scenes, the mouth, the small, large intestines and a quick scene at the... final part.
During each part a friendly voice tells you a bit of educational talk about what happens in each section,
There are 2 short interactive parts, one where you build ammo for good bacteria by grabbing some items and placing them on their designated spots (one item being kellogs cereal), and then the 2nd part is using that ammo to feed good bacteria using a sort of slingshot mechanic that works fine.
A whole run lasts ~6min.
Also, there is a screen during the game thats supposed to show me a map of where i am on the body, and probably other info, but it was just grey the whole time, that the only annoying bug i could find.
Performance was ok with a 1080, except for a short big dip in the shooting section.
Recommended because though aimed at the younger kids it was an ok way to pass 6minutes. The voice acting was excellent, the writing was very good, it does tells a bunch of educational stuff, and even if it has a ton of advertising, for a free experience it was fine.
