Iragon: Prologue

Typical hack and slash with simple spell casting. Game can be buggy at times like getting stuck in walls and trees with no option but to go back to the main menu and lose your progress. If you run out of mana to cast spells, the range indicator gets stuck on the screen.
Graphics are not bad but not great. Characters can be blocky and all the girls pretty much have the same face.
So far, there hasn't been a way to sell items in your inventory. I've got six swords taking up slot space. I also don't see a way to drop items either.
Story line and voice acting is good. Hopefully the official release will have these bugs worked out. Adding side quests would be great as well as saving your progress on logging out.

it fun to play

It's a good concept but a bit restrictive in S-scenes even though it's clear it's happening, other then that, it has good potential, that is, when they decide to stop delaying the release, kind of a red flag if you ask me. Would I recommend it? For now, it's a yes, classic melee with magic combo with a couple S-scenes sprinkled here and there plus an "experimentation hall" to test out what's being made for the game which is a nice feature but yeah, the delays really need to stop.

Actually pretty good. Played both VR and non VR versions.
I'll mention things for them seperately. Though I will put some things of note and feedback about the game in general first and have version specific feedback after.
General:
The game has a pretty generic premise with a pretty generic looking protag, with generic archetype one would expect from generic fantasy anime and hentai, with cliche responses and decisions and dialogue he makes. Has no customization either so you do have to look at this character alot in cutscenes.
The game starts out okay even though it doesnt really build that much before it progresses. The first place you only meet ike 2 people, one optional of one of two. And then the town is attacked. You dont talk to anyone else or get to know anyone else to really grow any attatchment to anyone or anything.
The gameplay is pretty decent, and the animations flow kind of well (aside from the slow sprint speed). Theres a couple enemy varieties in this, a couple of skeletons, some soldiers, a few acid spitting slugs and some wolves. They do attack differently. You also get a few different weapons, but in relation to the weapons and spells. Im not sure if enemies have any weaknesses or resistances. I tried using all 3 spells on the slugs and didnt notice a damage difference initially. Though with 3 different elemental spells, makes me think there is or should be elemental weaknesses, else dont see a point in having different elemental spells with thier own trees.
Speaking of trees, each elemental spell appears to have a decently deep tree from what can be seen. Even though most of it is locked out here, you can see how each one expands. So thats nice. You get different variations of spells of the three elementals later in the tree or story eventually beyond whats in the prologue.
The voice acting is pretty decent for the characters. Most npcs do just stand around and just say things and arent interactable in anyway unless they have a designated circle in front of them meaning can interact. You can seem to hire certain npcs as a hireling similar to skyrim, and can progressively do more with them. Though you pay for it using mana orbs it looks like rather than an affinity or relationship system. Which is okay, depending how if one perfers just getting access to things outright or rather building a relationship with them.
As far as art, it does look pretty good. Though there is a particular style with the characters here, especially the females, some might not like. They have really big heads and big eyes, sort of look like dolls. But they do have subtle animations like blinking and such. They all kind of share the same sort of body types too, not that much variation. They all kind of shapely but mostly slim, not much variation of thicness. Some might have a slightly bigger chest some might have slightly smaller. The dragon girl int the game is really slim too. So the first couple of females you see int he game, will be pretty much how all the females in the game will look body wise. There is a little bit of same lookiness with the female characters too. Besides some of the unique characters. The enviornment artstyle seems fine and servicable. Weapons and such as well.
The hentai and sexy scenes are kinda me, theres alot of softcore, light shit. Theres options to fuck certain npcs, but they arent that good, its still kinda softcore. I havent gone through all the options but they're quite softcore from the ones I've seen. So you're likely going to be dissappoited with the sexy stuff if you're looking for a more hardcore presentation.
VR:
-Menus are a bit too far, or the font is too little, makes it hard to see things like how much something costs in upgrades and such.
- There isnt more clear notifications of how many mana orbs you pick up in comparison to non VR
- The spell slots are a bit too far away out of reach to pick, especially if you want to use your left hand to cast them. Would recommend moving it closer to reach easier in the hud.
-Movement speed feels too slow, and isnt notable difference between regular movement speed and sprint in VR.
- Some scenes are a bit offset, such as scenes thats supposed to put you sitting on chairs have you way above it.
- Should be optional way to hold a weapon two handed, especially when you get heavier weapons like Hammers and Axes
+ Its more immersive than non VR
+ Combat in VR is servicable, and has good upgrade trees for the magic from what can be seen (even though most of it is locked out)
-The cutscenes of when your character is doing something like cutting down a soldier or throwing a rock is really offputting because you yourself is just standing there and stuff is just happening. Really feels like you should be acting out what is supposed to happen in these sort of cutscenes.
Non VR:
-Much like the VR version, the movement speed of sprint is barely noticable. Its more passable in this version but more aggrevating in VR. Its also less of a problem since actually have a dodge button, but if going to have a sprint, would say it needs to have a more noticable different or there isnt a point in having sprint at all.
+The weapon combos are different, which could be good for some and bad for others. Not sure if the combos for certain attacks have different effects but certain weapons do feel good cause of this.
+The scenes look much better (clearly because they were done primarily to be played in standard)
Overall:
Overall. I would recommend this to at least give a try and gauge it. I myself will likely get the full game when its finished, but the things mentioned between the different versions would help the quality of life play quite alot. Some of my general complaints probably wont change cause they are more foundational things like some of the female models art style. It was pretty fun for what I played. I wish was more openness with it, but that is probably with the full game, as there was point in the prologue that felt like could go and do other things but just didnt. I like what I played though and will likely get the full version when its done.
