[STORY]
It has been many years now since The Hero restored peace to the land…
In a world tormented by the forces of evil, a swordsman and
his companions set out to defeat Hadlar, the Dark Lord.
On an isolated island in the southern seas, a boy named Dai lives among monsters,
yearning to become a hero himself someday.
Everything changes when the Dark Lord is revived.
With a new crisis facing the world, Dai makes a promise to his mentor,
encounters new friends, and slowly learns about his own inescapable fate…
This is the beginning of Dai’s adventure, and his quest to become a true hero!

A little lacking, but quite decent for the DAI-hards in your life.

I really enjoyed this game, My only complaint was that this game has a bug that doesn't let you save your progress I was going to attempt to refund this game but as I continued to play it .. I just forced myself to beat it in one sitting I know most people aren't willing to do that so please be aware that a save bug currently exists and doesn't let you save your progress at all which can be a huge deal breaker and turn off. Despite that being its only flaw this game has confirmed me to be even more of a huge Dragon Quest fan this game gives early Dragon Ball Z vibes and I'm loving it from the main cast to the demons and villains that Dai has to fight and encounter. I even really liked Avan's sense of honor and helping people who needed the most help (Dai's master and teacher) this game really pulled on the heart strings and now I'm willing to buy the manga's and even watch the original show. Thank you Dragon Quest I hope we get to get another game in this franchise and have it as a complete product instead of ending halfway through an amazing world and story! Lastly upon completion of this game I hope we get a second game that eventually comes out for DAI and make it the full complete package with the story that would give us DAI Hard fans a supreme treat! and we would love you forever <3

Definitely an entertaining and pretty fun game based on a loved but underrated anime/manga.
Fans will love it, and given the approach followed to explain Dai's story, it seems a game dedicated to fans that have some previous knowledge on the anime/manga.
Although I will have preferred more battles and less cutscenes, yet the product accomplishes the purpose of delivering the story of Dai as an incredible videogame.

Just as good as the Anime!
