From start to finish this was a entertaining game through and through. There are 5 levels and each one requires some pretty good platforming skills to get through them. The fighting in this game isn't really anything to praise. It has its punches and high and low kicks with blocking which the AI can be tricky to get past. You could try to be technical to beat enemies, but there really isn't anything stopping you from trying your luck with button mashing the attack button.
There aren't that many differences in the common enemy, but the bosses in each stage has some unique looks to them. While the fighting isn't really anything special, the real reason to play this game is for the platforming. The platforming parts require good precision with your button presses and good reaction times. Its got a good difficulty set so you you'll get kick out of this game. The game might be short, but for a buck(79 cents for me on sale) you get a great challenge that gives you an old school like feel.

A short and simple platformer with some challenging stages and a very retro look. It's good fun for just a buck. If you enjoyed classics such as Shinobi or Ninja Gaiden you might also enjoy this one! :-)

Played 5 mins, paused, played 18 more mins, had to stop to write this review.
You play as Dag, a jump/boxer who lives in an Asian town where gravity only applies to you. Being discriminated against for his choice in clothing, you parkour your way through the city, battling stereotypically dressed Asian thugs, my favorite of which, is an 8-bit, half dressed, shit covered knock off of Liu Kang. As you mash away at the fight button, you pray you wont be defeated, since there is no indication as to when you may be bested. When not battling, you are avoiding spikes, and what look to be ethereal blades that spawn randomly (or are they bullets, no one knows.)
The controls are the most unresponsive I've ever encountered, which resulted in a lot of face first jumps into walls, followed by continual walking in the opposite direction.
Laughed the whole time, thoroughly enjoyed it. I may throw a $50 down and gift it to everyone on my friends list.
10/10, can't wait for Jump/Shooter

Ok, before I'm going to say anything else about this game I'd like to point out that it's a dollar.
Why does this matter? Well to be honest you are basically paying a dollar for what we could say is Blaze Epic's rudimentary parkour game engine that was later polished in further incarnations. This game is difficult till you get the hang of it, the controls can be frustrating but work much better with an XBox Controller than Keyboard. Though I've almost cleared the game with both. I switched to controller in level 5 because the controller response is much faster than the keyboard input.
The Parkour part requires a lot of timing and exact jumps which can be infuriating but not impossible. The fighting is basic single button that changes the moves based off the directional button you are pressing. Which works though most of the fights were really easy and usually ended with repeated groin kicks... ok that wasn't really a problem it was kinda funny.
Long story short- This game is basic, it's frustrating... and yet I couldn't pull myself away from it after getting past the first level. For a game that's a dollar, it works and you care to look at the other titles done by this developer it's a neat way to watch the development this the creators much more polished titles.
Also depending how well you do really will be the determining factor of how many hours you'll spend. Like you will either blaze through this or just dump obscene amounts of time.

IT’S SO FUCKING DIFFICULT!!! MORE PLEASE!!!
Well, the thing is its too fucking frustrating. The enemies have no real rhyme or reason to their attack patterns, and there are spikes fucking everywhere. The game is a death trap and don’t blame your audience for not being hard core gamers that transcend the PC gaming master race/class. We tenacious types are hard to come by these days.
the best part is, the game actually has realistic controls and free running physics for the main character. The last game was better flowing with free form puff jumping and more open environments to explore and enemy attack patterns that made sense, sure the combat got old, but the very first game was about the combat, second game wacko bananas ninja jumps, this one combines realistic jumps with fantasy spikes and trash cans and Chinese warriors from out of nowhere.
The death trap environments, along with the true-to-life(ish) actions of the character make platforming a pixel nightmare, and a real test of patience.
I feel that the game could have had a better challenge curve, but i suppose its fine as is. all the same, don’t expect as many people to have the patience that i had.
Also, if anyone cares to notice, I’ve been referring to these games as a series, and that’s because I feel they may all be the same story
*spoilers for Samurai_Jazz*
In the first 2 you're the same guy. At the end of 1 you get to (either) lay your masters soul to rest after he commits suicide at the beginning and (or) fight a dark reflection of yourself that stabs you in the back anyway, but that could have been all in your mind and it’s supposed to make you think of honor vs. all of the killing you did to get there...
*spoilers for Shin Samurai Jazz*
Flash forward a few years and you're (either) dead and (or) a ninja, and back in the city where your master died and there’s a gang of undead thugs still running the place. You fight the yakuza style 1920s/30s gangs and demons in the first game, now followed by 3 spirits. You take down the last gang the three spirits take over the world instead, and finally you conquer them in the name of humanity or something. The spirits basically loose all power and as a last hearty FU to the "Ronin", they cut the bleeding earth in half!
*Spoilers for Jump Boxer*
The game starts and you look like some hobo that’s fighting at shadows. But after a few sections, I started passing by graffiti that was a tribute to the "Ronin".
my guess is, the earth got screwed, Ronin moved into a city where the earth was stable (or he managed to fix the earth somehow), he moved to china, and now as a senile old man, he free-runs around the inner city, and he's either shadow boxing his hallucinations or he's continually haunted by the spirits of dead warriors for being the one responsible for Japanese demons fucking up the earth... It’s not bad, but seriously, when the final boss looks like Bruce Lee, anything is possible
