The first game I made back in 2015. If you want a short jumpscare filled experience then give this free game a try.
Story
You play as Norman Chambers, a man who has lost his mind due to the death of his one true love. You wake up alone in an old dark hotel room. You must explore the long creepy corridors in search for answers to why you are there and how you can get out. But unfortunately completing this task becomes more difficult as expected, as you face the many horrors in which this hotel holds.
Features
- Explore the quiet long corridors of a Hotel.
- Find journal entries revealing answers to your questions.
- Encounter deadly paranormal events.
- Avoid death through quick reactions.

A warning before we begin: whatever you do, TURN DOWN YOUR SOUND BEFORE PLAYING THIS. The audio is highly effective, but hardly subtle. You have been warned.
First thought after start-up: oh Lord, another cheap P. T. wannabe. Second thought: hey...this actually ain't too bad. Imaginative, well-executed, and made by devs who clearly understand that jump-scares aren't genuinely effective unless they're surrounded by suspense.
Another commendable decision by the devs is the one to make this product FREE. Which it should be, really, given that it's less than ten minutes long. But as showcase demos go, it's a fairly impressive one, even if it does opt to get pretty heavy-handed and unashamedly cheesy at the very, very end.
A strong recommendation to all horror fans, especially since it won't cost you a dime. Oh, and I notice one of the devs went on to make Amberskull, which I already own. Guess I'd best get onto that one ASAP, then!
Verdict: 8/10.

Not bad for a first game. Can't complain much because it was free. RIP T-Bag. <3

Hotel Remorse has that vibe like one is playing on Roblox. That said, I love Roblox, so I was quite entertained by this lil horror treat. Short, to the point, yet feeds a person plently of simple jumpscares. It's a great experience to start out your gaming session with, when you're at a loss on what game to pick from your Steam collection ^-^
