My advice ?- don't expect too much from this game . Just like the 100,000 hopeful prospectors who stampeded to the Yukon in 1896 in difficult ,dangerous and often fatal conditions and found nothing to show for their effort at the end of the journey.
I bought the game because i was a fan of the TV series, and just wanted to pan for gold - which i did and was mildly successful . Just remember , panning for gold is and always was a hard , lonely and rather boring job for very little reward. If the dev's introduced multiplayer it would make the game far more interesting and less lonely but that doesn't look like happening now after nearly 6 years of waiting.
For now, the game has all the equipment you need to go much further than just panning , and has some appeal if your interested in hunting for gold on your own , but gets boring - ultra fast . All things considered , for what you get the price of the game is fair IMHO .
