Gemini: Heroes Reborn is a first person action-adventure that allows users to enter into the role of Cassandra, age 20. She is a young woman on a journey of discovery in which she will unlock incredible powers – unique in the Heroes Universe – and solve a mystery in her past. She will be reunited with her long missing family, but not in the way she ever expected.

A bizarre mish mash of ideas that sometimes work and most of the time don't, although the execution is pretty lacking in a lot of places, the game, especially for being a licensed game based on a 2000's TV show, has a lot of interesting things going for it and is worth the few dollars entry fee just to see how everything works together in strange tandem for the few hours that it lasts.

Well it's no Bioshock but I had fun catching bullets in slow mo and throwing them back at enemies, as well as shoving them into exposed electrical cabinets. Story is childish, writing embarrassing, twists are obvious, gameplay and physics wonky, music forgettable, everything apart from the inventive time traveling mechanic is basic and uninspired. I have to say though, if you just ignore that it's part of the basically dead on arrival Heroes franchise, it's pretty entertaining for the length it is, with room for experimentation, and for under 3 Euros. Achievements seem broken unfortunately. Great speedrunning potential.
